ODBD September New Release Blog Hop

Good morning and welcome to September's new release BLOG HOP!

Our Daily Bread Designs has some pretty new FALL designs this month!

First up is the new Seasons Change stamp set and Wheelbarrow die to go with it.

This card also features some great new grass dies Grass Lawn and Grass Hill

I also used the stamp/die Duo Many Blessings from last month and older favorites Cozy Quilt paper, Rectangles, Pierced Rectangles, Fence, and Lavish Layers.
I stamped and colored my image in some nice fall colors (some of my favorite flowers are fall asters which are purple, around here anyway) then die cut it, I cut the grasses from light and medium golden colors and the fence from a scrap of white and assembled all onto a piece of light blue stock, foam taping some of the pieces to add dimension.
I then used the rectangle dies to make a frame window and stamped "Harvest of" on top.  The inside frame was cut with the Lavish Layers and the Cozy Quilt paper.  I popped the frame up over my wheelbarrow scene and added the Blessings die cut from my dry grass color.

Next up is a card using the new A-Maize-ing stamp set and Indian Corn die that goes with it.

I stamped, colored and die cut the Indian corn and then stamped and die cut my Give and Thanks from the duo set.
I built up layers using the Doily, Vintage Borders, Vintage Labels and Stitched Oval sets, popping some of the layers up. The Give and Thanks are also popped up.

Very nice cards, Robin. I especially like how you have off-set the round doily on your second card. It really draws the eye in.

Wonderful coloring on your images! :)

Nice cards - love the "window" and fence with the wheelbarrow, and the lacy look on the 2nd card. I also like the use of the word dies. I just ordered those a few days ago & look forward to playing with them.

Beautiful cards, Robin. I really like the scene you created for the wheelbarrow. The fence is a great addition. Your Indian corn is colored perfectly!

Thank you for sharing both of your cards with us and creating more ideas in our minds for our cards. The Corn card is beautiful in it's elegant simplicity. But the Harvest card is so sweet. I love the way you have done it as a window. The blue sky in the background is so bright. Great card.

Hi Robin,
Beautiful Autumn cards. I really love your wheelbarrow card. The coloring is lovely and I like how you added the white fence in the background, the "Autumn" colored grass in the foreground and the torn edges all around your frame...nice touches...very creative. Your second card is very pretty with the purple color added. You did a beautiful job coloring the stamped image.
Blessings,
Diane

Great cards. My favorite is the 'blessings' one. The die cut sentiment jumps out to make this card stunning.

You have incorporated two of my favorite dies in the first design: the word "Blessings" and a fence!! And I also love the whole design! And I love the Give Thanks card, too. Both are simply beautiful designs!
