Instructions:
Card size: closed-7 1/4 X 5 1/4” Open-7” X 5 1/4”  Cut white card stock  10 7/8” X 5 1/2”  and fold into thirds, cut the top with the scallop edge of the Ornate Borders, fold two outer panels into half and use a bone folder to get  good crease. Cut decorative paper for each panel and then cut the tops with the plan edge die of the Ornate Borders. Glue each matching panel to the white card.  Cut the bridge from tan card stock 2” X 7” then cut the top with the plain edge die of the Fleur Border Basics Die.  Cut 2 tan “dirt” panels from tan card stock for the back panel but leave the top open for now to insert bottom of the town of Bethlehem after stamping and die cutting 1 with London Fog ink and 1 with black ink.
Stamp, die cut and color the Holy family, the shepherds, the angels, and the palm tree.  Use a solid plain piece of rubber to create a reverse image of the shepherds then cut out only the end shepherd to put on the right side of the bridge with the palm tree. I cut the coconuts off the tree as it looked too tropical.  To reverse the image I used my Misti with a plain sheet of rubber.  I attached the plain rubber to the acrylic side like you would a stamp and had paper on the other side secured with magnets.  I stamped the shepherds onto the plain rubber then immediately stamped the plain rubber onto the paper making the reverse image.  I had to fussy cut as the die cannot be used on the reverse image.
Use gold glitter on the star and on the angel halos, Fine glitter on the wings and glass shards on the stars in the sky.  Glue the angels above the Holy family and the Holy family down on the center portion of the bridge.  Foam tape the shepherd group to the left side and the single shepherd on the right, also foam taped, along with the glued flat to card tree.   Card will fold flat going either direction for easy mailing.

Thanks for visiting today!

Matthew 1:18-25
18 This is how Jesus the Messiah was born. His mother, Mary, was engaged to be married to Joseph. But before the marriage took place, while she was still a virgin, she became pregnant through the power of the Holy Spirit. 19 Joseph, to whom she was engaged, was a righteous man and did not want to disgrace her publicly, so he decided to break the engagement[h] quietly.
20 As he considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream. “Joseph, son of David,” the angel said, “do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife. For the child within her was conceived by the Holy Spirit. 21 And she will have a son, and you are to name him Jesus,[i] for he will save his people from their sins.”
22 All of this occurred to fulfill the Lord’s message through his prophet:
23 “Look! The virgin will conceive a child!
She will give birth to a son,
and they will call him Immanuel,[j]
which means ‘God is with us.’”

24 When Joseph woke up, he did as the angel of the Lord commanded and took Mary as his wife. 25 But he did not have sexual relations with her until her son was born. And Joseph named him Jesus.
