Heartfelt Creations -God Is With Me!

Good morning!
I used some acetate to complete the
front of this card.

Here is the inside

HC PRODUCTS USED

Other Products:
White card stock, purple card stock, pearls, buttons, floss, acetate, embossing folder (Cuttlebug).

Instructions:
Card size: 4 1/4 X 5 1/2”  Cut white card stock 5 1/2 X 8” and fold in half to make a card base. Cut curved border on front of card only with the eyelet edge from eyelet Border Basics.  Cut 2 pieces of decorative paper 4 1/4 X 5 1/2”.  Glue 1 to the inside of card and cut the second with the curved plain edge from the Eyelet border Basics die.  Before gluing paper to the front, glue a piece of acetate to the front.  Glue die cut piece of paper to the front of card on top of acetate leaving the white eyelet to show for a border.  Cut a white panel for the left side of front, die cut with eyelet edge and also the inlay decorative curved die.  Use an embossing folder on the plain part of white card stock.  Instead of running it through a die cutting machine just use a hammer to hit only the portions you want a pattern on.  Glue to left side of front and add pearls.
Stamp Patchwork Daisy Border and Patchwork Daisies using Leaf Green then sponge color with Chartreuse.  Stamp Buttons and Blooms flowers using Magenta Hue, Forget Me Not and Majestic Violet inks.  Die cut and sponge color.  Stamp sentiment using Majestic Violet and die cut with oval then die cut larger oval from purple paper.  Glue Daisy Border to front of card along decorative paper border.  Glue sentiment to purple then to inside of card towards the left.  Glue the vine around oval cutting where necessary.  Glue buttons and Blooms flowers to border on front and vine inside.  Thread buttons with floss then glue to the inside of flowers.

I have another card today, this one is from the Arianna Collection.  Look what a little pleating will do for a flower and the shaping molds make pleating so much easier.

Instructions:
Card size: 5 X 7”.  Cut from white card stock: Eyelet Heart and plain edge heart for a frame, Decorative Oval, Intricate Swirl Frame Die and Ornamental Tag for sentiment.  Glue frame to yellow folded card.  Glue Decorative Oval to back of Heart frame and trim off excess.   Pop heart up and place toward top of the frame. Set card base aside while you work on the flowers and leaves.
Stamp flower blossoms from the Arianna Collection using Vibrant Fuchsia then sponge with Buttercup in the centers and Vibrant Fuchsia on the tips, die cut and run through the Die cut machine using the 3D Basic Florals mold after misting with water.  Take them out of the mold and continue pleating the tips with your fingers while still moist.  Punch them down in the center with stylist tool (Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit) and let dry completely before the next step.  While drying, stamp Leafy Accent leaves with Fern Green and sponge with Vibrant Fuchsia and Leaf Green then die cut and run through machine with 3D Leafy Accents Shaping Mold.  Now put flowers together by gluing 2 the same size as the base and then one smaller.  Die cut stamen (Arianna die set) from Vellum and use your stylist in the centers to make the stamen stand up then add yellow Nuvo to each end.  Let dry and glue to the center of flowers.  Pierce center of flower with piercing tool and add a yellow beaded stamen.  Glue the stamen to secure and when dry, cut off the extra wire on the back of flower.  (Small flowers only have 2 layers, both small.
Glue leaves and flowers to the left side and bottom of the heart.  Stamp the sentiment to the white label that was die cut using Vibrant Fuchsia ink and then glue each end to the heart frame.  To finish, add a small fuchsia ribbon bow  to the left bottom corner and pearls  to each corner of the white frame.  Add smaller pearls to the cross sections of the Decorative Oval inside heart.

Instructions:
12 X 12”  Paint all edges of book and pages  and film strips with white acrylic.  Cover front and sides and pages with decorative Lilac paper.  Ink edges with purple ink.  Die cut Black Friday Release dies (several of each) from white card stock (some will be used inside).  Die cut 4 Sweetheart Borders, 1 bird cage and 4 corners from Petite Pocket Accents for the cover.  Glue corners to the 4 corners (while closed), Glue six 1 1/2” square photos to the back side of small film strip, glue 2 Sweetheart Borders to right side and then glue the strip to left side of cover (about 3” from left edge).  Glue the other 2 Sweetheart Borders to the right side of cover between corners.

Stamp, die cut and sponge Lilac Flowers, leaves, scroll, and birds (birds are colored with Copic Markers).  Arrange a “swirled” arrangement of the scroll and lilac flowers up left side of cover, add leaves as needed.  Add Prills to centers of flowers and glitter to petals.  Extend swirl with the pearl swirls.  Add a bow to top of scroll.  Glue flowers, leaves and birds (birds are popped up) to right top of cover and add a bow.  Add pearl swirls starting at the bottom of right side and moving up 2/3 of cover.   Use foam tape or some other pop up to pop cage up actually bowing it slightly by bring edges closer together than intended.  Add a line of pearls top and bottom.   Glue closure to left and right side and glue clipped brads to holes to look like nails.  Tie a ribbon around binding at left side and add a tag plus charms (or beads if desired).

Inside left side and bottom right side:  Die cut (2 together) large Ornate Pockets to form a square in the center for a photo (approximately 3 1/4" square).  Cut 2 of the straight pierced corner pieces to border photo.  Die cut Decorative Pockets and Elegant Pockets  (Elegant Pockets for when flap is closed, Decorative Pocket for tags when flap is open. (because my paper was already on my album, I used an Exacto knife to create and opening for the tags being careful not to press too hard so as not to go through album but just through the paper.  When flap is closed, glue a plain white mat for photo and glue Elegant dies top and bottom.
There are a lot more pages, flaps and pockets but space and time do not allow for all the be seen and told about here.  Check out Emma Lou's video on these albums on line today, Black Friday.
Thanks for visiting!

Galatians 6:7-11

Don’t be misled—you cannot mock the justice of God. You will always harvest what you plant. Those who live only to satisfy their own sinful nature will harvest decay and death from that sinful nature. But those who live to please the Spirit will harvest everlasting life from the Spirit.
So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up. 10 Therefore, whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone—especially to those in the family of faith.

Screen Card Tutorial

Tutorial
Directions:
Step 1: Cut a piece of white card stock 11 5/8 x 5 1/2" and then score at 3 7/8" and 7 3/4". Fold using a bone folder along the score lines.
Step 2: Place the large tag die from Album Tags and Accents Die at the top of folded card and cut just the top as shown in photo by placing the top cutting plate at the point where you want the cut to stop, then run it through your machine.
Top Tip: Use removable tape to hold the die in place.
Step 3: Place the die at the bottom of the card and run through the machine again to finish the card base. Use the smaller die to cut an insert out of decorative paper. The paper used for this sample is ivory from the Lush Lilac Collection.

Step 4: Add glitter to panels using a sponge and adhesive and sprinkling with Ultrafine Crystal Glitter. Glue the inserts onto each panel and ink all edges with Cactus Flower Archival Ink using a sponge dauber.
Use the inside die of the Eyelet Lace Frame Die set to cut orchid paper and glue one die cut to the center of each panel.
Step 5: Stamp and die the cut flowers (Oakberry Lane Blossoms and Wildwood Florals) using Cactus Flower and Garden Patina Archival Inks and then sponge with the same inks to add color on the edges.
Step 6: Stamp the leaves with Fern Green ink and sponge with Leaf Green, Cactus Flower and Garden Patina ink and then die cut. Color the backs of leaves with Leaf Green.
Step 7: Then run flowers and leaves through shaping molds.
Step 8: Glue 3 blossoms together for each Oakberry flower and pierce through the center of each to add stamen. The Wildwood Florals are single blossoms and shaped with the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit.
Top Tip: Push hard in the center of each Wildwood Floral to give the flowers a beautiful shape.
Step 8A: Add "Lettuce Entertain You" Prills to the center of Wildwood Florals. Add Rock Candy stamen to the Oakberry Blossoms. Add glitter to each flower and mist leaves with clear shimmer spray.
Step 9: Stamp the sentiments "On Your Special Day" and "Best Wishes" from Celebrate Love Sentiments Stamp Set and die cut using the Ornamental Tags Die. Sponge the edges with Garden Patina ink.
Add an orchid ribbon to the small tag. Add foam tape to each side of the large sentiment tag and stick it to the right panel bowing it slightly in the center.
Step 10: Use flowers, leaves, and more stamens to make floral arrangements on each panel and let the glue dry.
Use the metal tip on Dries Clear Adhesive to make small dots of adhesive here and there around each arrangement and add Prills to the adhesive finish. Tuck small tag into foliage on center panel.
