HC Happy Anniversary to Us!!

Good morning!
Last night December 31st really was our Anniversary!
So 37 years ago we started January 1st as our first day of a new life.  It seems like yesterday because we have been so happy and best friends as well as husband and wife for all these years!
My best wish for everyone getting married this year is to be as happy as we have been.
That doesn't mean we haven't had rough times, oh believe me we have had our share of hard knocks but we always stuck together through every trial!
In marriage both parties must give 100% none of this 50-50 stuff! And there is no room for selfishness!
And that's the end of my marriage advice! LOL!

Instructions:
Card size: 6 X 7 3/4”.   Fold 1 piece of 11 X 6” white cardstock to 5 1/2 X 6”.  Place the Swirly Border Accent “outside/top” die onto folded cardstock so that the top of die is over-hanging fold by 1/2", Cut.  Remove die and place it on a piece of 5 5/8 X 5 7/8” Decorative Paper, Cut.  Cut a piece of lavender cardstock 4 X 5 3/4”, glue to the card about 1/8” from bottom and sides. Glue the decorative paper to the card front about 1/4” above the bottom edge and sides.

Die cut the Swirly Border Accent (the decorative part), the 2 corners and the 2 Swirly Accent Sprays out of white.  Glue the Swirly Border accent to the top, corners to the bottom and the Swirly Accent Sprays one on each side.

Stamp “Happy Anniversary” using Deep Purple, die cut with oval and sponge edges with purple.  Cut a foam piece with the same oval die and glue it to the back of sentiment.  Cut a white oval slightly larger than the sentiment as a mat.  Glue to the back of sentiment stack then glue the stack to the  card just below border accent die.  Stamp swans using London Fog and color with Copics.  Turn the swans over and shape slightly with a large ball stylist from the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit.  Fill middles, necks and heads with foam tape but put adhesive along the bottom edge.  Adhere the swans below the sentiment holding down the bottom until glue is set.

Stamp Lilies using purple and some with Vivid Chartreuse sponge with like colors.  Stamp small leaves using Fern Green, sponge with Chartreuse and Fern Green. Die cut flowers and leaves then shape in the mold (see video).  Use tools from the kit to further shape lilies to suit what you like (this sample has 3 different shapes).  Sponge wires on stamen with Fern Green then glue 1 stamen into each flower “bowl”, let dry.  Twist the wires together on 3 flowers then glue toward the end, 1 leaf.  Glue the flowers and leaf down on the left, inserting another leaf part way up the flowers.  Twist wires together on 2 flowers and glue leaf at the bottom of wires.  Glue this set to the right side of card.

Add glitter to the flowers using Rajni Chawla’s Crystal Clear.   Randomly add Ultrafine glitter to card face.  For a final finishing touch, use glue to attach small pearls to decorative dies (even if they are self-adhering).

My second card is made using the Woodsy Collection

Other Products:
Foam sheet, foam tape, white cardstock, light blue chalk, pearls, VersaMark Ink or Embossing Ink

Instructions:
Card size: 7 X 7 1/2".  Score and fold in half the second circle section of Bi-Fold card then glue the first section down to just the top half of the folded second section to make an easel card.  Cut 2 Lattice Windows from white using both decorative halves of the set then use the half circle outside edge with the holes for both halves being careful (using your cutting plates) not to cut the center portion so that you will have 2 full circle windows. Cut just the center of the Rounded Window Frame Die and use the Eyelet Circle to cut the outside of it to cut it out.  Cut a smaller circle of white to back the lattice portion of the Eyelet circle then cut a piece of foam sheet with a circle just slightly smaller than the Eyelet Circle and glue it to the back of the Eyelet Circle stack.  Cut 1 Starry Night rounded decorative die of white, glue it to the back of 1 Lattice Window circle die cuts, cut off excess so that it does not show in the Lattice Window then glue it to the front of card.  Glue the second Lattice Window circle to the bottom (inside).

Glue the Eyelet/Lattice circle stack to the center of card front, add pearls.  Stamp Merry Christmas from Candlelit Poinsettia stamp set using Forget Me Not, trim it into a banner and fish tail cut the ends then curl and glue to the Eyelet /Lattice circle.

Stamp deer and trees using VersaMark (or clear embossing ink) on white and heat emboss using white powder.  Use light blue chalk to color your trees lightly then flitter trees with Rajni Chawla’s Crystal Clear.  Chalk the deer very lightly with blue as well but don’t add glitter except on the ground.  Foam Tape trees at different dimensions to both sides of the card front (be careful to not adhere them too low as to interfere with the proper easel opening).  Foam tape the deer in-between the trees at the bottom of the front circle (this will actually be what sets at the card stop to keep it open).   Add pearls to the lattice on the card front anywhere that is showing and randomly glitter card front on window circle, Eyelet/Lattice circle and Starry Night.  Add a sheer white bow to the top.

To finish the inside: Stamp “For My Friend” on white using Forget Me Not ink then die cut with the smallest oval you can.  Cut out a foam sheet for the oval as well and glue it to the back.  Cut out another slightly large oval from white and cut another foam oval for it then glue it to the back.  Glue the sentiment oval and larger oval together for a double popped layer then glue the stack near the center but check to see that the card will be open at the desired angle then adhere.

Stamp Poinsettia using VersaMark and emboss with white as before, die cut then shape in the shaping mold (one layer at a time because the embossing will stick to another set).  Sponge some blue chalk randomly on the poinsettia leaving them mostly white.  Glue 2 blossoms together for each flower then add white Prills to the centers.  Add a bit of light blue Prills on top.  Stamp Holly with VersaMark and emboss then shape in the mold.  Glue poinsettias and holly to each side of the center ovals.  Add pearls to the inside where ever they will show.  Add glitter to flowers and randomly to card inside.  Card folds down fairly flat for mailing and opens to display both inside and front of card.
My next card is a special fold as well made with one of the card bases that came out on Black Friday.
This card has several different flowers to make a Christmas bouquet.

For more tips on creating with the flower shaping molds, watch the tutorial at https://youtu.be/FSdPL7nXvQE
Instructions:
Card size: 6 X 6”.  Use the Heartfelt Creations Shutter Fold card for the base.  Cut 2 full Red circles from decorative paper using the outside part of the Rounded Sunlight Window Die and cut 2 full green circles from Decorative paper.  Cut all of the circles in half.  Cut a 6 X 6 panel from decorative paper for the center.  Glue the center and all half circles on to the base card, the green is on the back side (on the far right green side put the other half of the magnet onto pane also insert brad on the same panel so just save the last green half circle until the end then glue the green down).  Cut 4 Starry Night dies from the ivory decorative paper.  Cut 4 straight edge Starry Night dies from Ivory.  Glue the half circle Starry Night die cuts to the red half circle panels.  Glue 2 straight edge Starry Night to the top and bottom of the center panel.  Glue the other 2 straight edge Starry Night die cuts to the 2 ends.

Stamp large candle, holly spray and holly leaves all using Memento black then color.  Shape the leaves from the back slightly. Stamp all the flowers using Vermillion and sponge with Carnation Red.  Stamp the Wild Aster spray using Vivid Chartreuse then use Liquid Pearls to make dots on it.  Use the shaping mold for the poinsettia and the lily (see video) and use the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit for the asters. Stamp Merry Christmas on ivory using Vermillion and cut it out with the large Oval die set.  Die cut 3 pieces on the Window Hinge set from ivory.  Glue the 2 hinge piece together then glue the Merry Christmas to it.  Glue a 1/2" magnet to the back of the Merry Christmas element then glue another layer of the hinge piece to the back to cover.  Cut 2 piece turn dial from the Window Hinge set, poke a hole in the turn dial and inset a red brad.

Glue the Merry Christmas onto last red half circle but only glue the left half leaving right side with magnet free.  Wait to insert swing dial until finished with decorating the center to see where it should go. Cut an Eyelet circle from ivory and sponge yellow in the center (for candle glow), glue it to the center then glue candle to the center.

Start gluing flowers and holly to the center under and around candle.  Cut a sentiment from decorative paper using a circle die then cut the same size circle from Fun Foam (foam sheet).  Sponge the edges with Carnation Red then glue it to the center panel as well.

Now close card and see where the turn dial should be (the magnets should hold card closed at this point) then insert it into that right panel.  Now you can glue the last piece of green over the magnet and brad to cover them.

Decorate two outside panels around Hinge and turn dial.  Randomly glitter the card and glitter all flowers.

Thanks for visiting and I hope you have a wonderful holiday season!

For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger.” And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying: “Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!”
Luke 2:11-14 NKJV
Read the full history of Jesus birth here.
The first chapter gives the details of the "prequel"-John the Baptist birth and the angel coming to Mary and the 2 chapter is all about the birth of Christ.  Make this a special Christmas, read the reson for this season.
