Card size: 5 X 7” (with flowers included in the width, 6 1/2 X 7”).  Cut the Elegant Swirl Gateway die from blue decorative paper and white cardstock, glue together, Cut the decorative portion of the Elegant Swirl Gateway from white then glue to the blue card front.  Make a shaped card using white cardstock (5 X 12”, fold to 5 X 6” with fold at the top) see video “5 X 7 Decorative Frame Dies” above  Glue the card front to the folded shaped card matching bottom and sides (card front will extend over the top by about 1”).  Stamp Urn using London Fog, die cut then color.  Glue the urn to card front so that the bottom matches bottom of the shaped card.  *Make sure to leave top open while gluing sides inward about 1/8” each more than is natural so that urn will be arched open at the top. Put a bit of stuffing (tissue paper or other) into the bottom of urn bowl to keep its shape.  Stamp Urn Fillers and Accents in Magenta Hue, Majestic Violet and Tiger Lily, leaves in Fern Green.  Sponge all with their own colors, die cut then re-sponge the edges.  Add a bit of Copic greens to the stems of fillers and accents.  Stamp Zinnia using Magenta Hue, Majestic Violet and Tiger Lily, sponge then die cut and shape in mold.  Glue 2 or more together then fill centers with Prills. Add fillers and accents along with Zinnias to the urn opening, add leaves where needed then add gauze in small pieces and frayed. Stamp sentiment using London Fog Memento on decorative paper, die cut then glue to the right top corner of urn.  Glue a small bow at the top. Glitter card base, fillers and accents with Ultrafine and glitter zinnias with Rajni’s Crystal Clear.   Paint leaves with a combination of lacquer and shimmer additive. Thanks for visiting today! Card size: 6 X 6”.  Start with 12 X 6 white cardstock, score then fold in half to make a 6 X 6” card base.  Cut decorative paper 5 3/4" square then glue it to the card front. Cut from white cardstock, 2 corners and 1 Ornate Pocket with Pierced “V” inside border.  Glue the 2 corners to top corners and Pocket to bottom of card.  Stamp sentiment using Rose Madder (using a Misti Tool will help to make sure the stamping is completely solid).  Die cut the Happy Birthday and glue it to the Ornate Pocket.  Stamp small Dahlia 4 times using Rose Madder, sponge with Buttercup, die cut then sponge edges using Rose Madder again, (See video for shaping molds).  Glue 3 layers together but on the 4th, shape into a bowl, stamped side out, insert stamen then glue the bowl closed as close as possible around the stamen.  Glue the bowl into center of flower.  Cut 1 Swirly Border from white and cut in half,  tuck each half into flower.  Stamp leaves using Leaf Green, sponge with Vivid Chartreuse, die cut then mold.  Glue the combination of flower and leaves to the top center of card. Glitter the card and flower and set pearls as desired.

Stamp 2 Holly sprays and 1 large Poinsettia candle using black, die cut then color.  Stamp Holly with Fern Green, sponge with Leaf Green, die cut and shape in the mold.  Stamp Poinsettia with Vermillion, sponge with Carnation Red, die cut then form in the mold. (sponge both sides of holly and poinsettias).  Form the holly sprays a little from the backs.  Glue the candle to the bottom left side and glue the sprays starting at the left above the candle and extending around the other side, (the Poinsettia will cover the bottom of the circle). Glue 2 poinsettia together to form each flower and glue Prills to the centers.  To the large poinsettias add some small gold stamen.  Glue the flowers around the bottom and 1 at the seem between sprays of holly at the top.  Add pearls around the ivory circle and on paper seems (optional).  Glitter the flowers and the card.

Stamp the lantern and the holly spray using black, die cut and then color.  Stamp the poinsettia using Fern Green and holly using Vermillion, sponge flowers with Carnation Red and Holly with Leaf Green, die cut, sponge the backs then shape in the mold (see video). Cut the Christmas Blessings sentiment from decorative paper and fish tail the ends. Glue 2 flowers together for each poinsettia then glue Prills to the centers.  Glue the lantern to the oval center then glue Holly Spray left and over the top of the lantern. Glue the sentiment to the top right of the lantern and glue the poinsettia with holly to each corner.  Glitter flowers and card. Thanks for visiting today! Cut 3 panels from decorative paper using the outer die of the Elegant Swirl Gateway Die. Glue the paper to each of the 3 card panels.  Die cut the full decorative die from white for the center panel.  Die cut the decorative frame only (center cut out) for the first panel and cut out the decorative frame, center in, for the 3rd panel.  Stamp on the solid center of the 3rd panel using Magenta Hue ink, the large sentiment with the floral top.  Glue each of the decorative dies to the corresponding panel and glitter each.  Stamp flowers using Magenta Hue, die cut, sponge Magenta Hue on the edges, form in shaping mold (see video) then glue 2 layers together for the small flowers and 3 layers for the bigger flowers.  Insert green stamen.  Stamp leaves using Fern Green, sponge with Leaf Green, die cut then form in  the shaping mold.  Stamp small butterflies from the Dahlia flowers as accents for each panel using Magenta Hue.  Glitter the flowers with Rajni’s Crystal Clear. Arrange some of the flowers and leaves on the first panel at the lower left corner/side.  Arrange about 5 flowers and leaves at the top of center panel and arrange the rest of the flowers on the right bottom corner of the 3rd panel. Paint leaves with a combination of lacquer and shimmer additive.  Glue tiny butterflies 2 for each panel.  Stamp You’re An Amazing Friend on white using Magenta Hue and die cut with long straight die then fishtail the ends, curl and tuck into flowers on the first panel. My second card today features another one of the beautiful new Gateway Dies.

Card size: 5 X 7”.  Cut 1 panel off of the Gateway Fold Card Base.  Use the outer die of the Lattice Swirl to cut shaped card leaving the left side of the die over-hanging about 1/4" to keep part of the fold (see video, Decorative Frame Dies above).   Cut another front piece out of white and purple decorative paper using the outer die of the Lattice Swirl as before.  Glue these to the card base.  Cut the decorative part of the Lattice Swirl twice, once out of white and once out of silver.  Layer them together slightly off-set and glue together.  Stamp “Thing of You” using purple on white cardstock then die cut with a circle die 3 1/2”.  Glue the circle to the under side of the layered decorative Lattice die cuts then glue to the purple card base.  Stamp Oakberry Lane Blossoms using Deep Purple, die cut, shape in mold (see video).  Insert white and green stamen.  Stamp leaves using Silver ink, die cut, shape then squeeze out a small amount of Silver Liquid Pearls, use your finger to spread it over the edges of the leaves for a more metallic silver look.  Arrange flowers and leaves at bottom right side of card and 1 flower at the top center with 2 leaves.  Use Rajni’s Crystal Clear on the flowers and just a tiny bit of Crystal Ultrafine on the card.  Try to avoid the silver paper as much as possible. Thanks for visiting today! Robin It is now coming on to the Christmas season so I would like to share a part of scripture that is rarely thought of but so important to the reason Christ was born. This prophesy was said by an old man who had never seen Mary, Joseph or baby Jesus before. 25 And behold, there was a man in Jerusalem whose name was Simeon, and this man was just and devout, waiting for the Consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was upon him. 26 And it had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not see death before he had seen the Lord’s Christ. 27 So he came by the Spirit into the temple. And when the parents brought in the Child Jesus, to do for Him according to the custom of the law, 28 he took Him up in his arms and blessed God and said: 29 “Lord, now You are letting Your servant depart in peace, According to Your word; 30 For my eyes have seen Your salvation 31 Which You have prepared before the face of all peoples, 32 A light to bring revelation to the Gentiles, And the glory of Your people Israel.” 34 Then Simeon blessed them, and said to Mary His mother, “Behold, this Child is destined for the fall and rising of many in Israel, and for a sign which will be spoken against 35 (yes, a sword will pierce through your own soul also), that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.” To be sure, Christ was not born just to be a cute little baby but was actually born for the eventual death on the cross for our salvation.  Once for all of man kind who will believe on Him and call upon His name.
