Theme Day-Holiday Wishes

Hello crafty friends!

Today I have 2 very different cards but both are holiday wishes cards.

I have told you how much I like plaid, right?

My second card is so cute to me! I added that snow cap to the sweet little penguin. Ok well, he will grow into it, it actually belongs to his uncle Jake!

Winter Love Shaker

Hello crafty friends!

This is the cutest little shaker card and I made it out of trash/scraps.

The clear heart was packaging for some sort of embellishments (I save everything that I think may come in handy!)

Well, the paper background was not a scrap but everything else was.

Because the acetate heart was a scrap I did not have a die to fit so I just drew around it to get my shape cut out to the pink and plaid papers. I then inserted the clear heart from the back and used a white cord around it to cover any rough cut edges. I then stamped the sentiment on the bottom right. Glue a white ribbon and bow to the bottom of the plaid paper.

Add a bit of sprinkles (pink hearts and clear snowflakes here) to a plain white folded card (in the center) then place your heart plus paper/ribbon on top of the pile making sure the card top is straight.

I then die cut the snowflakes and fussy cut the little girl and mittens and popped them up.

Second Day December Red Rubber Day 2

Welcome to the December Limited Release Rubber Set Hop!

December 1st & 2nd the Impression Obsession Team will be sharing new projects with the December Limited Edition red rubber stamp set. You can find a list of participants on the Impression Obsession Blog daily through the event.

Two lucky customers who place an Impression Obsession order during the Limited Edition Set release week (December 1st – 8th) will be chosen and will have a very special Impression Obsession prize package added to their orders!

This card was stamped directly on microfine glittered white cardstock using double-sided tape (about 2 1/2" wide, both sides have protective sheets).

December Red Rubber Set, DIE797-YY Crazy Stitched Set, DIE1254 Santa Mug, DIE100-F Small Snowflake Set.

I first put the tape onto white cardstock after removing the protective sheet, and then I removed the protective sheet from the second side and glitter. It helps to use a fine brush to get all excess glitter off, then burnish.

Next stamp and color or leave white. In this sample, I added a little gray for shading the tree trucks.
