Elizabeth Craft Designs- Birthday Wishes!

Hello friends!

Adding some soft lavender on my flowers today for a sweet birthday.

This card would be perfect for a sister or best girl-friend birthday.

I used a tiny bit of manzanita branch and gauze under the bird.

There is a decorative easel behind the card to help keep it standing straight.

Elizabeth Craft Designs-Special Day Shaped Card

 Hello crafting friends!

I love the multi-colored roses in my yard, one of them is called the "Joseph's Coat" and it looks a lot like these roses, so today I'm sharing my "Joseph's Coat" rose card.

This would be perfect for an Anniversary card or even for a wedding card especially if the roses are done in the bride's colors.

I made an easel for this card to help it stand well since it is in an oval shape.

 Hello crafting friends!

Isn't this little purse just the cutest?  My husband saw it and said I had to keep that for someone special!!

Ribbon and wired pearls used to fill and embellish.

Edges are sponged with Scorched Timber.  I used a small magnet for a purse closure.

Specialty ribbon/fiber as an embellishment for the handle.

Elizabeth Craft Designs-Fancy Gate Fold

 Happy Thanksgiving!!

Tomorrow is the day, what are you thankful for? I can tell you that I am thankful just to wake up in the morning after a year of health problems. I'm thankful for a husband who has been an angel to me and so much more, hey I love food...how about you?

Anyway, I hope you are able to celebrate with loved ones tomorrow and to give some thought as to what you are thankful for.  Even if you don't celebrate, thank God for the breath of life.

Today I am sharing a shaped gatefold card with an easel back piece to keep it standing.

Roses_2, Fern and Greenery, Decorative Oval Frame, Delicate Fancy Card Easel, Ornate Butterfly,

Bohemian Rose Sentiments, Bohemian Rose Paper, Soft Finish Cardstock

To create this gatefold, cut a piece of white cardstock 9 1/2 X 7 1/2.  On 9 1/2 edge, score at 2 3/8" then again at 7 1/8".  Fold each side in to meet in the center.  Use the outer die of the Decorative Oval Frame,

place it vertically over the folded card with both sides of the die over-hanging the card sides about 1/4" (center of die should be directly over center of folded card).  Run through your die cut machine then back out to get a good cut.  This will be your base (5" X 7").

Now cut another front from decorative paper then cut it in half vertically.  Glue half to each corresponding front piece.  Cut 2 Decorative Oval Frames from white, glue 1 inside (trim side edges to fit inside).  Cut the other 1 in half and glue it to the front.

Decorate as desired.

Cut out the Delicate Fancy Card Easel from decorative paper and from white cardstock, glue together then glue to the back of gatefold card so that it stands up straight.
