Special Day! Easel Card

 Good morning crafty friends!

Material List

Card size:  6 X 6”

Cut a Simple Centerpiece card base using the largest die in the set on white cardstock. Score right side at 3” then fold down toward center fold, crease with bone folder then open flat. Cut another card front from white cardstock with the same die. Glue this piece to the bottom half only of the 3” scored side (all edges should match. This forms the easel base.

Cut green and lavender decorative paper for the front and inside of card using the same large Simple Centerpiece die.  Glue the inside piece onto card but wait on the front.  Use the lattice insert curvy Accent die to cut through front decorative paper piece at an angle.  Cut it again from silver then glue the silver under the decorative paper off set so that silver shows.  Trim any excess silver from edges of Centerpiece die cut.  Glue a piece of lavender decorative paper under lattice opening then glue the card front to the base front.

Make 2 silver Octagon frames using the largest Simple Centerpiece die along with the next die in size together.  Pop up the top/front silver frame and glue the inside silver frame to card.

Use a small oval die to cut a piece of silver and a piece of Fun Foam. Glue these together then glue to the inside of card to create a stop to keep easel card open (for best results this piece should be almost at the bottom of the inside).

Stamp Feathery Florals using black on white cardstock, die cut then color.  Shape on the back using the largest ball stylist in the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit. (Use pop ups under flowers and some leaves).  Adhere larger floral to the front of card on the right side and glue/pop up smaller floral on top of the silver oval inside card.

Stamp Wild Rose using Deep Purple onto Deluxe Flower Shaping Cardstock. Sponge with Deep Purple, die cut then sponge edges again and use the shaping mold to form flowers.  Glue 2 of the same size blossoms together to make flowers and then fill with Prills.  Glue 3 on the front with Feathery Florals and 2 inside.

Cut one of the strip sentiments from decorative paper, line with silver, fish tail both ends then use a pen to make a wave.  Glue it to the front at an angle.

Glitter card randomly and glitter all the flowers.

Heartfelt Thanks Pocket Card

 Hello there!

I've done another pocket card today. This one is much simpler than the pocket easel card I made before but just as pretty.

Card size:  5 1/4" X 6 1/2"

Cut white cardstock 6 X 11 3/4" then score at 3 1/2 and 8 1/4", fold in. Cut 3 pieces of pink and green decorate paper to fit each panel then glue 1 on flap, 1 inside and 1 on pocket outside. Glue the pocket sides to inside to form pocket. On left end (flap), place the circle inset die and the curved plain edge die along the edge and cut to make a decorative edge for the flap.  Cut this same decorative edge on a piece of gold to fit under flap so that the gold shows slightly. Cut a piece of gold about 1/4" wide to cover any seam made on the inside of flap.  Wrap a gold ribbon around entire flap above the decorative edge.

Cut 2 tags from decorative paper using the Ticket and Tags die set., insert gold ribbon at the tops then place inside of pocket. Stamp sentiment using Magenta Hue onto white, die cut with oval then die cut another oval a little larger from gold. Glue together then glue to inside on top of pocket top edge.

Use black to stamp the Petite Feathery Florals and Butterfly.  Die cut then color.  Glue the butterfly to the pocket (make sure it shows when flap is closed). Glue the Petite Feathery floral to the top of flap over ribbon (leave room on the left side for Lilies).

Stamp Lilies using Sunflower and using Magenta Hue, sponge then die cut and form in the mold.  Insert stamen then glue to the card flap left side.

Glitter all the flowers and butterfly then make a gold bow and glue it under Lilies.

Thank you friends for visiting today!

Mother's Day

 Good morning crafty friends!

Card size:  6 X 6”

Use the Simple Centerpiece largest die to cut card base, making sure fold is just inside the cutting edge at the top so that it will not cut.  Cut a card front and the inside of card with the same die on decorative green and purple paper, then glue them to card front and inside.

Cut the large decorative die of Elegant Hearts Centerpiece from gold cardstock and from white cardstock, glue them together slightly off-set.  Cut an octagon frame size 3 X 3” using 2 Simple Centerpiece smaller dies together (One 3” and the other 2 1/2") from gold and from white, glue them together again slightly off-set.  Glue the 2 frames onto card front, centering.

Stamp the sentiment using Deep Purple Ink onto white, die cut it with a Simple Centerpiece die 2” then cut a gold 2” as well, glue them together as before, off-set.  Glue the sentiment to the center of card front.

Stamp Feathery Florals, Floral Feathers and the butterfly from Petite Feathery Florals using black ink onto white, die cut all then color with chosen method (Copic Markers used for this sample).  Form slightly from the back using the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit with the largest stylist ball.  Glue the butterfly body (pop up wings) to the left side of the octagon frame and glue and pop up the Feathery Florals, Floral Feathers to the right side of card.

Stamp Small Wild Roses using Deep Purple on Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper, sponge with Deep Purple, die cut then sponge edges again.  Form in the Shaping Mold then squeeze tips together for a ruffled look. Make one small flower a bud. Punch a small flower from green to make a sepal for the rose bud and glue it in place.  Fill flower centers with Prills then glue them in place on/around Feathery Florals.

Glitter the butterfly and the flowers using the Crystal Clear and Dries Clear Adhesive with a sponge.

My next card uses the decorative vase with flowers, feathers and butterflies.

 Card size:  3 7/8 X 8 3/4”

Cut shaped card using the outer die of the Slim Eyelet Heart Rectangle Die, (see video). Cut 2 coordinating panels from decorative paper using the same die. Glue 1 to the inside.  Using the Curvy Decorative Border die cut a curved border on the front side of card.  Cut the second decorative paper panel with the same plain edge curvy die as was used for the card front.  Glue decorative paper panel to front of card.  Cut a decorative curvy border from white cardstock then glue it to the card front.

Stamp feathers using Rose Madder, die cut and color.  Stamp sentiment using Rose Madder and Electric Green, sponge Electric Green images with Pink Peony.

Stamp Lilies using Rose Madder, sponge with Pink Peony and some with Rose Madder. Die cut, shape in mold, insert yellow Petite Pollen Stamen.

Stamp leaves using Fern Green, sponge with Leaf Green, die cut and shape in mold.

Stamp vase using black on decorative paper and stamp butterfly using black, on white cardstock, die cut and color. Cut the decorative die from Vases from white.

Add pop ups to the back of vase parts of feathers and butterfly wings.  Add greenery and feathers to vase then glue/pop up vase and filler. Glue decorative white vase decoration to vase.

Use hot glue to add lilies to arrangement, insert leaves here and there.

Glue butterfly to top left of card above arrangement.  Add glitter to flowers and butterfly wings.
