The box is in the center where, in this card, we have a lovely flower garden.

For more tips on creating with the flower shaping molds, watch the tutorial at https://youtu.be/FSdPL7nXvQE

Instructions:
Card size: Closed-5 1/2 X 4 1/2"; open-4 1/2 X 11”.  Fold 4 1/4 X 11” cardstock in half then fold left side in half again to form the Z.  Cut a piece white 5/8 X 11, fold in half then fold right side in half again to make the pop-up part of card, along with 3 1/4 piece of white 1/4 X 3 1/4”. Score the 3” pieces on both ends at 1/4".  Cut top edge od card base with the plain edge die of the Fleur Border Basics then cut a piece of decorative paper to fit, cutting top edge to match.  Cut white eyelet borders (two) and glue to the top.

Stamp, color and die cut: firepit, ice bucket of drinks, table set, trailer, potted plants, cat & dog, sign, and scooter then glue all these pieces (except scooter) to the inside of card, add some flowers to the trailer. Place sign and dog at the fence opening, the cat on the table.
Stamp and die cut 6 fence pieces and glue to the 5/8 X 11 piece (after coloring piece green for grass).  Stamp 6 Hollyhock flowers, color, die cut and glue, staggering flowers, to the three 3 1/4"pieces avoiding the score lines at the ends.  Stamp, color, and die cut flower garland, enough to cover fences.  Glue fence/grass Z fold strip to card by gluing the 5 1/2"part of strip to the 2 3/4" side of card then glue the 2 3/4"part of strip to the 5 1/2" side of card.  This will form a box in the corner of open card.  Glue the three 1/4" plus flower pieces to the inside of the box (it will all fold down when closed).  Pop the scooter up on left side outside the fence.

Stamp, sponge and die cut the Posies blossoms and insert stamen (after adding yellow with alcohol ink).  Add the flower to top right and left side of card filling in with some leaves from the garlands.  Glitter all the flowers and randomly around the card here and there.

My second card is a pocket tag card and the flowers
on this one are Peony.
I did the crinkled petals on these peony blossoms.

Tags for Christmas

Good morning

Today I have some Christmas tags to share.
I decided to do some of these tags because a good friend of mine from SCS has been after me to get involved with Loll Thompson's 12 Tags of Christmas for a few years now. My friend Nancy Stislow (Stiz2003 from SCS) is such a wonderful tag maker!

This first one has a background made with reinkers and alcohol, shimmer, and glitter.  I die cut the trees and bird from I.O. out of white and sponged with Antique Linen then die cut the deer from Penny Black from gold mirror card stock. The Merry Christmas at the bottom is from Memory Box.

This background is the other half of my first tag only I stamped gold words (Stampington & Co.) on top then spritz with shimmer spray.  I then used stencils and gold and silver paste for the background trees and the snowflakes.  The gold mirror tree is from Sue Wilson and the Deer is an Old Sizzix die on silver mirror.

The background on this tag is alcohol inks in water marbling technique then stamped with silver (Old D.O.T.S. stamp).
The deer is from Dee's Distinctively and the tree is from Sizzix.  The tag is an old Sizzix die as well.

The background on this tag is from spraying Dylusions ink onto kraft sheet, spray with water and dip card stock in then sprinkle Kosher salt on until dry and then it brush off.  The trees are Cottage Cutz and Memory Box from white glitter paper. The deer set is Memory Box.

LOL, this background is the shaving cream marbling technique...the reason I laugh is because it is very odd looking for a sky but, oh well.  The deer is again Penny Black, the mountain is I.O., the trees are Penny Black, I punched the moon.  I stamped Peace (Stampendous) at the bottom with VersaMark and clear embossed.  I sponged Opaque White (Hero Arts) for shine on the black die cuts.

This was another marbled background but I stenciled rays over it with silver Lumiere paint. I used Aged Silver embossing powder to do the edges and sprinkled some on the tag as well.  I stamped words (Stampington & Co.) with silver. The die cut is (part of) the Nativity die from Our Daily Bread Designs and the star is from Memory Box.

This background is also alcohol inks in water marbling. Stamped in silver (Renaissance Art Stamps) and then I clear embossed snowflakes (Penny Black) on the background as well. The trees are Memory Box out of white glitter paper and I punch the moon again.

My last tag today is done with Oxide Inks and water then spritzed with shimmer.  Clear embossed snowflakes (Penny Black) then die cut the large snowflake out, glued acetate to the back and did and inlay with white glitter die cut snowflake. This is called a floating inlay, my friend Nancy did one last year with the Sizzix tree which looks a lot better than this because it is more of an outline and you can see through so much better...see it HERE she also gives a link to the artist she got the idea from, Catherine Pooler.

DRS Challenge #190-The Hole Thing

Good morning!
Time for another challenge!
Put a hole in it! Heehee!
My tag border has holes in it and also my tag itself has a nice big hole!
Today I used DRS stamps:188F Feeding Reindeer,  518E North Pole Sign, 631P Open Plaid (for the red and white stripes), 688P Polka Dot Background, and 829H Sleigh Rides (just as a print background).
I used a snowflake embossing folder by Darice to emboss the entire front of the card before adding my tag and the little decorative pennant.  I found some wonderful green and red striped ribbon to use on the top of the tag and also used some crystal Stickles on the pole top and the snow on the ground.
Thanks for coming to visit today!!! To see all the designer's samples and to join in the challenge, click HERE.  There is a prize given out each week to one blessed winner!
