November Die of the Month

My projects today are a 3D Alarm Clock in gold and Ivory and a flat

It makes such an elegant card to give someone special!
The 3D card folds flat so that sending through the mail is easy.

Amazing You!

 Good morning crafty friends!

Amazingly, my daughter's birthday is today so in case she looks in on my blog post today, Happy Birthday Kelly!

I've created this slimline card today with my daughter in mind.  It isn't a birthday card, but it is an encouragement card just for her because she IS amazing!

Some special details include white and silver lace, white ribbon and pretty white pearls in
stiff line.

I don't know if you can see it but I splattered white paint on the blue wood background paper to start.
The words and decorative die are cut from white and silver.
The leaves are just silver.
Flowers are white and edged with silver Foundry Wax.  I added silver stamen to the centers.

Other products:
Foundry Wax-Statue, silver stamen, silver Paper, white cardstock, pearls on acrylic line, lace with silver, silver shimmer spray, decorative paper from Elizabeth Craft, white cord, foam sheet.

Retro Camera Pocket Card

Good morning crafty friends!

Instead of the 3D Vignette I've made a card with a "camera" pocket.  I could include any number of photos in my pocket, I can think of a lot of reasons to give a card like this.
A thank you for a wonderful time, A wish you were here, after a family reunion with family photos,
after a wedding with photos of the bride and groom, you name it!

I used Amazing Paper Grace dies: 3D Vignette Twin Lens Camera S6-196

This card will be used for encouragement, that is why I used the "Focus On The Positive" words cut out on the first pull-out card.

I hope you like this variation of the 3D Vignette Die set.

Santa's Coming!

Good morning friends!

Today I've used the new All Hearts Come Home (S5-534) from the Christmas Flourish Collection.
I decided to make the top shaped then made the top from white and inserted to finish the top.

I cut the front a couple times from white then cut pieces from gold for the packages
and to insert into hearts and house frame pieces.  For the windows I just added yellow
paper to the back of the die cut house.
I used a corner rounder for the bottom corners.

To finish, I die cut the Christmas from gold and from white.

Pumpkin

 Hello there crafty friends!

I've used the beautiful Fall Label Motif for this card today along with others (see list below).  The pumpkin and leaves were die cut from various fall colored cardstock then I sponged some Vintage Photo Distress Ink on some of the edges.  The pumpkin is also sponged with some light orange Oxide Distress Ink to give it some highlights.  The layers and popped up with cut out pieces of foam sheet (like Fun Foam), this makes a nice smooth layer.

S6-184 Eyelet Lace Frame (oval for sentiment)
Other materials used:
Various fall colored cardstock in golds, oranges, browns and light green,
white cardstock for the card base, gold rhinestones
foam pop up sheet and ribbon.

Noel

 Good morning!

I have this beautiful die set provided by Amazing Paper Grace and also have this
beautiful Christmas paper I bought recently that I wanted to use, it worked out perfectly to make this wonderful slimline card using both.

Also used: White cardstock, silver cardstock, silver stamen, Stickles, and white ribbon.

I used Stickles on the flowers made from the Christmas paper and some silver leaves were added to the small bouquet as well.  Silver die cuts lines the Christmas paper die cuts.
Made a white bow from satin ribbon.

Joy

I love making Christmas cards!
I love the colors, the festive season and the general beauty!
Today I've made an easel card and a treat box.
Treat boxes are always fun to receive or to make and give
for table settings as favors.  Table favors is what I intend to do for my Christmas Tea.

Today's projects created were used with dies provided by Amazing Paper Grace.

My Projects for Today
uses:

The treat box

Easel Card

One tip I can give is to die cut the card first before embossing because if you emboss first it tends to really flatten out when put back through the machine with the die cutting.  You really defeat the purpose of embossing if you then flatten the card panel.

These dies and plates are available from Spellbinders right now! Click here: The Christmas Flourishes Collection.

Gold mirror cardstock, Ivory cardstock, red cardstock, green cardstock, Diamond Stickles, Crystal Stickles, gold stamen
