Good morning!
Last night December 31st really was our Anniversary!
So 37 years ago we started January 1st as our first day of a new life. It seems like yesterday because we have been so happy and best friends as well as husband and wife for all these years!
My best wish for everyone getting married this year is to be as happy as we have been.
That doesn't mean we haven't had rough times, oh believe me we have had our share of hard knocks but we always stuck together through every trial!
In marriage both parties must give 100% none of this 50-50 stuff! And there is no room for selfishness!
And that's the end of my marriage advice! LOL!

die is over-hanging fold by 1/2", Cut.
Remove die and place it on a piece of 5 5/8 X 5 7/8” Decorative Paper,
Cut.
Cut a piece of lavender cardstock 4
X 5 3/4”, glue to the card about 1/8” from bottom and sides. Glue the
decorative paper to the card front about 1/4” above the bottom edge and sides.
Die cut the
Swirly Border Accent (the decorative part), the 2 corners and the 2 Swirly
Accent Sprays out of white. Glue the
Swirly Border accent to the top, corners to the bottom and the Swirly Accent
Sprays one on each side.
Stamp “Happy Anniversary” using Deep Purple, die cut with
oval and sponge edges with purple.
Cut a
foam piece with the same oval die and glue it to the back of sentiment.
Cut a white oval slightly larger than the
sentiment as a mat.
Glue to the back of
sentiment stack then glue the stack to the
card just below border accent die.
Stamp swans using London Fog and color with Copics.
Turn the swans over and shape slightly with a
large ball stylist from the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit.
Fill middles, necks and heads with foam tape
but put adhesive along the bottom edge.
Adhere
the swans below the sentiment holding down the bottom until glue is set.
Stamp Lilies using purple and some with Vivid Chartreuse
sponge with like colors.
Stamp small
leaves using Fern Green, sponge with Chartreuse and Fern Green. Die cut flowers
and leaves then shape in the mold (see video).
Use tools from the kit to further shape lilies to suit what you like
(this sample has 3 different shapes).
Sponge wires on stamen with Fern Green then
glue 1 stamen into each flower “bowl”, let dry.
Twist the wires together on 3 flowers then glue toward the end, 1 leaf.
Glue the flowers and leaf down on the left,
inserting another leaf part way up the flowers.
Twist wires together on 2 flowers and glue leaf at the bottom of
wires.
Glue this set to the right side
of card.
Add
glitter to the flowers using Rajni Chawla’s Crystal Clear. Randomly add Ultrafine glitter to card
face. For a final finishing touch, use
glue to attach small pearls to decorative dies (even if they are self-adhering).
My second card is made using the Woodsy Collection

Card size: 5 X 6 3/4". Cut Clear Cardstock (acetate) 6 3/4 X 10 then score and fold in half. Cut 2 black Adorn It dies, glue them together in the center, place on folded card base and on the back, trace a line to cut a curve at the top leaving about 2” of fold at the top. Cut the card base then glue black dies to the card making sure to go above the fold about 1/4" to hide fold. Cut 1 copper Lacy Diamond, 1 black Eyelet Diamond and 1 decorative scene with the Diamond Basics. Cut 1 diamond from foam sheet.
Starting with foam, glue Diamonds together ending with the Diamond Basic Scene. Glue the foam to the card base in the center of black die cuts.
Stamp critters and landscape pieces and fences using black ink, die cut then color. Glue fences all the way across the card base about 1/2"- 3/4" from the bottom. Use dimensionals and/or glue to pop up or glue the landscape pieces and critters (save birds for later).
Stamp carnations with Tea Rose, sponge then die cut. Stamp Leaves with Leaf Green, sponge with Chartreuse then die cut. Stam Posies with Buttercup, sponge then die cut. Shape flowers and leaves in their Shaping Molds (see video). For the carnations, while still damp, pinch/pleat petals more, set all the flowers and leaves aside to dry. When completely dry, glue carnation blossoms together in sets of 3, pierce centers then insert black stamen. Glue Prills to the centers of Posies. Glitter all flowers.
Glue leaves and flowers around top of card leaving a black die cut border at the top of about 1/4-1/2” Pop birds up in the flowers.
My third card is using the Frame A Card Leafy Border Die set
Gold cardstock, white cardstock, ribbon, embossing folder from Cuttlebug, foam sheet. Copics: YG03, YG17, V12, V15.
Card size: 5 X 6 1/2". 10 X 6 1/2" folded in half. Cover card base with decorative paper. Cut a piece of white cardstock 4 3/4 X 6 1/4" then use an embossing folder to dry emboss it. Cut a gold mat 1/16” larger, glue them together then glue the set to the card base. Die cut white piece with the Hand-Stitched Accents Die (4 1/8 X 5 3/8”), cut a 1/16” gold mat for it then glue it together. Cut a piece of decorative paper 4 1/2 X 6 then glue the stitched set on top of it.
Cut 6 Leafy Frame pieces out of gold, Cut 1 Eyelet Diamond out of gold. Stamp sentiment onto white using Deep Purple Archival then cut it out with an Eyelet Diamond 1 size smaller than the gold Eyelet Diamond. Place pieces of gold frame at a diagonal onto white stitched panel, cut off the excess then glue each piece down (at the diagonal). Now wrap sheer ribbon around gold leafy stack of cardstock/paper, tack it underneath and then glue to card base. Pop up gold Eyelet Diamond to the center then pop up sentiment on top of it.
Stamp Lilac using Deep Purple and also Majestic Violet, sponge then die cut. Stamp Peony using Rose Madder, sponge then die cut. Shape flowers in Shaping Molds (see video). Stamp Lilac sprays using black then color and die cut. For the Lilac blossoms, fill centers with gold Prills. The peony and stacked in groups of 3-4 blossoms, glued together then insert yellow stamen.
Arrange sprays top right and bottom left corners then add flowers to each spray. Glue glitter to all the flowers (either sponge glue on or brush it on). Tie a bow with 4 loops (Use a bow maker to make it easy). Then glue the bow to the left side of diamond set.

[ The Way, the Truth, and the Life ] “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.
