Elizabeth Craft Designs-Love Birds

 Hello crafting friends!!

Today we have some cute love birds.  This could be for an Anniversary or a new baby, maybe even a wedding gift card.

Make the card base by folding a piece of white cardstock, 4" X 9", in half.  Place the die so that about 1/2" of the die hangs over the folded edge and then die cut.  Fold one of the halves in half again then die cut another full front from white.  Glue the front to the side that was folded half but just on the bottom half. (I close the card base fully to do this, place the full front on top to line it up exactly then put glue at the bottom only up to the fold line). Now cut out decorative paper and decorative die cuts trimming as needed (at the inside top portion).
Birds, flowers and leaves colored with brushes and Oxide ink.

Thanks for visiting,
Robin

Peacock Love

 Hello my crafty friends!

Card size:  5” X 6 7/8”

Make a shaped card using the outer die of the Rectangle Filigree Frame (see video). Cut another front using the same die from the teal decorative paper then glue it to the top of card base.

Cut a Decorative Heart including the inside decorative heart and word from silver cardstock. Cut another plain (scalloped heart) from white to lay under the silver for more contrast.  Glue the silver to the white then glue the word LOVE to the center. Set aside until after the next step.

Pop up the outer part of the silver Decorative Heart and adhere to the center of the card front. Now, glue the center white and silver heart flat inside. Add white pearls to the silver where desired.

Stamp Rustic Sunflowers (smallest size) using Majestic Violet then sponge with Cactus Flower, die cut, sponge the backs and edge the petals with Majestic Violet, Form in the mold. Glue 2 together for each flower, fill with Prills then glitter.

Stamp the Leafy Accents using Bamboo Leaves, sponge both sides with New Sprout, die cut, add a bit of violet to some leaves.  Brush with lacquer.

Stamp both peacocks using black, die cut then color with chosen method (Copics used here). Pop both peacocks up over silver Decorative Heart, top and bottom.  Arrange flowers and leaves top left and bottom right.

Optional: cut decorative paper for the inside to finish.

For this is the message that you have heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.

Happy Anniversary!

 Good morning crafty friends!

Material list here

 Card size:  5 X 6 3/4"

Make a shaped card base using the Fancy Classic Rectangle Frame outer die, (see video).  Cut another front from the Elegant Rose Frames Paper then glue it to the card base.  Cut the largest decorative die from the Fancy Classic Rectangle set from gold and from light pink coordinating paper.  Tip: Glue the light pink and the gold border on at the same time by lightly taping together first with removable tape (the border is so thin that it easily stretches out of shape if not taped to a sturdy panel first).

Stamp the Elegant Rose Frame on white using black Memento (if using alcohol inks to color images). If using water-based markers or paint to color your images, then use Archival black or VersaFine Claire black to stamp.  Use the gold painty Pen or Gold Leaf Pen to color border sections and color the rest with chosen coloring system.

Use foam strips to pop the frame up onto card front, centering.  Stamp sentiment using embossing ink or VersaMark Ink (used here) then emboss with gold powder and a heat gun.   Die cut with oval then sponge edges with green.  Glue it in the center of the popped-up frame.  Glitter card randomly if desired.

Thanks for visiting today!

Instructions:
Card Size: 6 X 6”.  Cut one of the square panels off at the end. Cut a 6 X 6 panel from the decorative paper to fit inside panel, cut it down to 5 7/8 X 5 7/8 then glue it to the inside panel.  Add a bit of BG11 to the flowers on the paper.  Pick a decorative paper to match for the front of the card then cut it with the eyelet circle of the Eyelet Window die then cut off the little eyelets around the edge and cut in half and glue it to the top of the circle leaving about 1/4” border.  Cut a lavender Eyelet Window Circle with the inside die in place (the more open die) then run the die cut through again with the same inside die plus the straight line die with holes.  Thread the holes with ribbon and secure both ends.  Use the inside die also on the bottom half of the card circle front.  Glue the lavender die cut circle to the card front matching scallops and all edges at the bottom.  Cut another Eyelet Window die from white and only use the inside part of the die at the bottom then glue it to the inside of the front of card matching all edges (This just gives a bit more stability and a nice finish inside as well).

Stamp swans and small hydrangea using Tuxedo Black, die cut and color.  Stamp Sentiment using Deep Purple onto matching decorative paper then die cut with Album Tags and Accents.  Die cut the eyelet frame for the sentiment out of white.  Glue it to the top of the card inside panel.  Glue the swans to the bottom sticking the small hydrangea in under swans on both sides using a little foam tape under the hydrangea flower balls.   Glitter the inside.

Stamp the large hydrangea and 2 sets each of the blossoms using Forget Me Not on the flower and blossoms and using Cottage Ivy on the stem and leaves.  Sponge the flower ball and blossoms with Deep Purple and Forget Me Not, color the leaves with Copics. Stamp the Flower ball 2 more times and cut with circle die in two smaller sizes (than the flower ball). Sponge with color then add foam tape to the bottom of each circle and stack onto flower ball with smallest circle on top.  Form blossoms in the mold (see video) then glue to the flower ball until completely covered.  Glitter flower then squeeze a little purple Nuvo into the center of each blossom.  To get a flower with more curve for the round front I cut the stem off, glued the flower head to the top of the circle toward the left then reattach he stem so that it can curve, push leaves where you want them and secure with glue.  Tie a multi-looped bow with the ribbon and glue to the stem area.  Glitter the front of card!

Cut 2 white Swirly Accents spray die cuts then glue to each side of card front.

Cut 1 large Eyelet Diamond from white, pop it up in the center of card lengthwise.  Stamp sentiment using Rose Madder on white then die cut with oval die to fit.  Die cut the mat with oval from decorative paper and glue together then glue them onto the diamond popping up the ends to make level with the diamond.

HC Happy Anniversary to Us!!

Good morning!
Last night December 31st really was our Anniversary!
So 37 years ago we started January 1st as our first day of a new life.  It seems like yesterday because we have been so happy and best friends as well as husband and wife for all these years!
My best wish for everyone getting married this year is to be as happy as we have been.
That doesn't mean we haven't had rough times, oh believe me we have had our share of hard knocks but we always stuck together through every trial!
In marriage both parties must give 100% none of this 50-50 stuff! And there is no room for selfishness!
And that's the end of my marriage advice! LOL!

Die cut the Swirly Border Accent (the decorative part), the 2 corners and the 2 Swirly Accent Sprays out of white.  Glue the Swirly Border accent to the top, corners to the bottom and the Swirly Accent Sprays one on each side.

Stamp “Happy Anniversary” using Deep Purple, die cut with oval and sponge edges with purple.  Cut a foam piece with the same oval die and glue it to the back of sentiment.  Cut a white oval slightly larger than the sentiment as a mat.  Glue to the back of sentiment stack then glue the stack to the  card just below border accent die.  Stamp swans using London Fog and color with Copics.  Turn the swans over and shape slightly with a large ball stylist from the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit.  Fill middles, necks and heads with foam tape but put adhesive along the bottom edge.  Adhere the swans below the sentiment holding down the bottom until glue is set.

Stamp Lilies using purple and some with Vivid Chartreuse sponge with like colors.  Stamp small leaves using Fern Green, sponge with Chartreuse and Fern Green. Die cut flowers and leaves then shape in the mold (see video).  Use tools from the kit to further shape lilies to suit what you like (this sample has 3 different shapes).  Sponge wires on stamen with Fern Green then glue 1 stamen into each flower “bowl”, let dry.  Twist the wires together on 3 flowers then glue toward the end, 1 leaf.  Glue the flowers and leaf down on the left, inserting another leaf part way up the flowers.  Twist wires together on 2 flowers and glue leaf at the bottom of wires.  Glue this set to the right side of card.

Add glitter to the flowers using Rajni Chawla’s Crystal Clear.   Randomly add Ultrafine glitter to card face.  For a final finishing touch, use glue to attach small pearls to decorative dies (even if they are self-adhering).
