Welcome to the July Release Hop!

July 8th, 9th & 10th The Impression Obsession Team will be sharing projects with NEW July Release products! You can find a list of participants on the Impression Obsession Blog each day through the event.

My second card has to be a favorite for the one who has a sweet tooth, right?  And who doesn't like chocolate (besides my son that is, LOL!)  Nothing like a hot fudge sundae!

Product Focus-Backgrounds

Hello crafting friends!
Today we are creating backgrounds with stamps, stencils or dies.
My background and frame are created by 1 stamp, I also used the square stencil and then cutout to make the frame.

The frame is popped up with black foam sheet.
To cut the frame you need a craft knife with steel edge ruler or a cutter that lets you start and stop cutting where you want to (NOT a guillotine style cutter)

Team Favorite for January

Hello friends!

My favorite cartoon/story character has always been Winnie The Pooh.  He is the best version of what  a person should be.  Always kind, always thinking the best, so patient and gentle.  Ok, I have a need to watch the Adventures of Winnie The Pooh again, it's been years!

Don't you just love the new Hundred Acre Wood background stamp?  I now need more Pooh stamps!

I found some tiny baby buttons that I used on his joints, just like a real stuffed bear.
I used a minimal amount of color on the background woods so that Pooh Bear would be even more "in the spot light".

Product Focus-Stencils

 Hello crafty friends!

Today the product focus is stencils.  I've used the Ovals to make a double frame for the Childhood Friends and Heart Shelf.

Aren't these Pooh dies cute?  They bring back so many wonderful memories of watching the Adventures of Winnie The Pooh with my young children.  Pooh quickly became my favorite person.  He is just the type of friend I would like to be and to have as a friend.

I also used the edge border of the stencils to make a sweet border for the bottom of my card front.
You really get a lot of bang for your buck with these stencils.
