HC 10 X 10 Candlelit Scrapbook Page

Good morning!
This is my beautiful niece Bailey.  After opening one of her gifts she took the big red ribbon it was tied with and put it on her Santo hat.  I thought it was so cute I had to get a shot.  The photo
is not the best quality but I had to use it, this time will never come again like the running of a stream, it is never the same drops of water that flow by.
It may not look like it in this photo but she is the ultimate cowgirl
and she ropes calves in rodeos too!
She was in high school rodeo doing most all the events including cow "cutting" but after 10 years she likes roping the best.
She is the sweetest cowgirl you would ever want to know!

White cardstock, Ivory cardstock, Dylusion sprays in Red and yellow, Copic: E50, E51, E53, E21, R21, R24, R29, G24, G85, YG61, YG63, YG67, Y11, Y15, Y38, B00, B01, C1, C3

Instructions:
Size: 10 X 10”  Start with a 12 X 12” decorative sheet with poinsettia corners.  Cut each corner off starting at 6” mark at top and going to 6” mark at side for each.  Cut the center portion of paper down by an 1” on top and bottom also 1” on each side.   Cut a white 12 X 12 to 10 X 10 and glue the center red piece and 4 corners back together to reform page.  Use the cut lines to place 3 decorative borders from the Starry Night Decorative Die cut from Ivory cardstock.  Cut 1 Adorn It from ivory using any of the decorative slits for the picture to slide into.  Find the place where you will glue the Adorn It die cut and make a mark on each side of the slit.  Take the die cut away and use a kraft knife to cut a slit into JUST the red paper (not through the cardstock behind it).  Now glue the Adorn It die cut onto page so that slits match and you can now insert a photo.

Mat a photo with green decorative paper and glue photo to it then insert into pocket (the sample page has the photo glued to the page but you wouldn’t have to do that so that you could slide the photo in and out if desired).  Cut 2 hearts from red and 2 eyelet hearts from ivory, glue together and pop up on 2 horizontal corners. Cut 4 ivory corners from Album tags and Accents and glue them to the 4 corners of 10 X 10” page.

Stamp, die cut and color large candle, poinsettia blossoms and holly with berries.  Shape the flowers with the shaping mold (see video) and slightly shape holly with berries.  Glue 3 layers of poinsettias together and add Prills to the center of poinsettias.  Arrange Candle, poinsettias and holly in the left lower corner of photo pocket.

Add glitter to the page randomly and to the flowers.

My next card is a fun underwater tropic scene using a diorama box with 4 layers plus the back for a real 3D look.

For more tips on creating with the flower shaping molds, watch the tutorial at https://youtu.be/FSdPL7nXvQE
Instructions:
Card size: 6 1/4 X 6 1/4".  Use the shadow box that comes with the 6 X 6 foldout cards and construct the box without gluing it yet.  Use some foam between the layer tabs at the bottom of the box to keep them apart for display.  Cover the back with decorative Under The Sea Paper (6 1/8 X 6 1/8”) Make sure to put it on going the right direction when box is closed.   Cut decorative paper for the front, sides and back of box.  To cut the opening, place the front paper inside front and trace the opening onto it then hand cut.  Glue front and side on, set aside the paper for the back.

Stamp using black, coral X 3, shells, fish, and plant life(Rain Boots and Blossoms & Backyard Blossoms) on white, die cut and color.  Stamp flowers using Buttercup, Tiger Lily, Deep Purple, Magenta Hue and Rose Madder. Sponge with the same colors and create center colors mixing and matching ink colors above.  Die cut and start the shaping in the 3D Floral Basics Shaping Mold.  While still damp, pinch creases in petals created by the mold just to deepen them.  Glue 2 different sizes together except small flowers which are singles then add Prills to centers and stigma.  Stamp, sponge die cut leaves using Fern Green and Leaf Green.

Glue coral to the front bottom and sides and cut off excess from 1 side (save it).  Glue sand color card stock, shells, more coral to the bottom, divided layer tabs.  Glue plant life mainly on the sides of opening and a little on the back layer.

Stamp sentiment onto decorative water paper then circle cut.  Cut a white mat a little larger then glue them together and glue to the back water scene.  Pop up fish around the sentiment.  Apply Nuvo drops as bubbles on the background coming from the coral and the fish.

Re-construct box now gluing the back tabs onto the back of the back scene.  Cover with set aside 6 1/8 X 6 1/8 decorative paper (or plain white cardstock).  Once glue is set, decorate the top of box with the leaves and flowers. Glitter all the flowers, add pearls around in coral and in shell.  Use Nuvo Shimmer brush on the fish.

Psalm 119:160 New King James Version (NKJV)

160 The entirety of Your word is truth,
And every one of Your righteous judgments endures forever.
A lot of people think that what the social standards are is right and good but that social standard changes constantly...Is that really where we want to put our trust as far as what is right and wrong?
My trust is in God who never changes and His law which He really makes simple, all the commandments can be boiled down to this "Love the lord your God with all your heart, soul, body and mind and love your neighbor as yourself".

Matthew 5:14-16 New King James Version (NKJV)

14 “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.
Are you living a life that gives glory to God, your maker?  He expects us to be His ambassadors here on earth and to do the works He has done and walk the walk He walked.
We are all sinners saved by His grace, strive to honor Him in everything you do.  Be kind, be honorable, be giving, pray for the sick, give to the poor and help in any way you can, speak with grace and let your words bring life to other.  Encourage, show compassion, walk in truth.
Jesus said "I am the way, the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father except through Me".
Don't be afraid to share what good things God has done for you!!

Philippians 2:9-11

Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, 11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
