Just For You

Good morning crafty friends!
I have another vellum card to share this morning.
I saw the most fabulous lace somewhere and this vellum with white on top is the closest I could get to that look.

Card size:  4 7/8 X 6 7/8"

Make a shaped card with the outer die of the Simply Classic Rectangle Frame with Vellum, cut another vellum front using the same die.  Cut the inner decorative parts from white then glue to card front. Apply glue to the the back of vellum front just where white decorative die cuts are so that it doesn't show then adhere to the shaped card base matching bottom and side edges.

Stamp sentiment on white using Cactus Flower then die cut with oval die.

Stamp Iris on Deluxe Flower Shaping paper using Cactus Flower, die cut, ink edges, sponged centers with yellow. Shape in the mold then finish with the Deluxe Shaping Kit.  Make flowers, insert stamen then add Flower Soft to "beards".

Use foam under sentiment then glue to center.  Shape flowers around sentiment.

Add glitter on edges of flowers.

My next card uses the Floral Sentiments

Card size:  6 X 6”

Make a white 6 X 6 card base then cut a piece of decorative paper 5 7/8 X 5 7/8” to glue on the front. Next cut 1 white French Gate (2 halves) and 1 Gold Set then glue them together off-set.  Pop up each half to the card front.

Stamp the Special Floral Sentiment, die cut then die cut a piece of white with the Special Floral Sentiment die to replace the center to be plain with no sentiment. Color then pop up on top of French Gate.

Stamp Have an Amazing Day using Rose Madder then die cut.  Die cut a gold 1 too then glue under colored sentiment off-set (like a shadow). Pop up onto Special Floral “frame”.

Stamp poppies using Rose Madder then sponge and die cut.  Sponge the edges then form in mold. Make flowers gluing 2 blossoms together and insert green stamen.  Surround green stamen with yellow Prills, glitter flowers.

Stamp leaves using Fern Green, sponge with Leaf Green, die cut sponge backs then form in mold. Gloss leaves with 3D Lacquer.  Cut Leafy Accent leaves apart then arrange flowers and leaves at the bottom left of front.

Add yellow Nuvo dots and peach color pearls to card front.

For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord.

Amazing Day!

Hello friends!

I used one of my favorite flowers on this card, the lily.  Not only a Heartfelt favorite but real life favorite as well!  They have the sweetest scent.

Card size:  4 X 9”

Fold 8 X 9 1/4” white cardstock to measure 4 X 9” then place the Slim Elegant Rectangle outer die over edge of fold by about 3/8” so that fold does not cut through completely. Cut another card front from Fuchsia decorative paper then glue it to base matching sides and bottom edges.

Cut Decorative outer part of die from white and from gold, glue together slightly off-set then glue to card front, centering.  Use this die again to cut a lighter pink decorative paper for the inside of gold and white decorative frame. Glue to card.

Cut 2 layers of the slim Elegant Rectangle inner parts, 1 from gold and a slightly smaller one from white then glue together and pop up to center of card.

Stamp Have An Amazing Day on white using Vibrant Fuchsia, die cut then die cut a gold layer, glue together slightly off-set then glue to the center of the card front.

Stamp lilies using Sunflower ink on Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper, die cut, sponge edges then use a yellow chalk pencil (or other pencil) to fill in lily center and stripe on petals, rub out slightly (if using chalk).  Form in the mold, glue 2 blossoms together for each flower, use 1 for the bud, stamping side out). Punch a small pointy flower to use as sepal for the bud, Use Golf Groove Tool to pierce centers and to further form lilies.  Insert stamen, 3 for each flower (yellow used for this sample).  Glitter petals.

Stamp leaves using Fern Green, sponge with Leaf Green, die cut then form in the mold, Lacquer leaves using 3D Lacquer and shimmer additive (optional).  Arrange leaves and flowers on the left side of sentiment.

Stamp small butterfly using embossing ink on vellum then heat emboss with gold powder, die cut then add a thin layer of Diamond Stickles to the wings.  Put pop up under body only and adhere to card on the right side.

Glitter card as desired, add white pearls to decorate decorative gold and white Slim Elegant Rectangle frame.

I've been noticing over the years how TV programing has become more and more anti-God, anti-Biblical principles, haven't you?  Those people want everyone to be as hopeless as they are...why they really care what I believe, I haven't figured that out yet.  So that, with the bombardment of news, it has become easier for people to lose hope in their life.

I have hope in my life because my hope is based entirely on Jesus.  He is my solid ground, my compass. How can I not have hope when He says that He has redeemed us.  I have seen the miracle in my life of new life and many times He has come to my rescue in circumstances or when I'm afraid or in pain. I know He is who He says He is and that He really did die for me and rose from the grave with victory...how can I not have hope.
Hebrews11:1 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. For by it the people of old received their commendation. By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible.

He says He has a place for me so when this short physical life is over I know where I'll spend eternity. John 14:1-3.

For peace and for hope, turn off the TV for a while and read God's word, the Bible.

Happy Birthday!

 Hello Heartfelt friends!

I just love these vellum cards!  They look so lacey and pretty.

It seems perfect to me to put beautiful Irises on this lacey looking card.
I think a lot of very small flowers would work really well too!

Card size:  4 3/4" X 6 3/4"

Using Heavy weight Vellum, make a shaped card with the outer die of the Elaborate Oval Frames.  Start by folding a piece of vellum to be at least 5 X 7” then place the die over-lapping the fold by about 1/4". Cut another front from vellum using the same die and set aside.

Cut the decorative die of the Elaborate Oval from white, glue it to the vellum front.  Put glue on the front piece only where you see the white decorative die so that it does not show when glued to the card base.

Die cut the smaller decorative die from white, glue to the card front.  Stamp the sentiment using Deep Purple on vellum then cut with the smallest oval, glue it inside the smaller decorative white die cut.

Glitter the card front.

Stamp Iris flower on Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper 3 times per color (Cactus Flower and Deep Purple) for each flower. Sponge stamping color along with yellow on each petal.  Cut 1 double petal in half so that top has 3 petals and bottom has 3 petals, (3 petals makes it easier to glue flat to the card vs 4 petals top and bottom). Use hot glue to adhere top to bottom of each Iris.  Glue stems to flowers in back.  Fill flower beards with Flower Soft.

Stamp leaves on Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper using Fern Green, sponge with Leaf Green, die cut then shape. Glue 2 leaves to the stems then glue flowers and stems to card on left side around sentiment. Glitter edges of petals only.

My next card uses the cute little birds and iris garden images
to create a little (A2 size) Z-Fold card.

Card size:  4 1/4" X 5 1/2"

Score white cardstock at 2 1/8” and 4 1/4" then fold into a Z-Fold card.  Cut 3 pieces of light blue decorative paper to fit, 1 for each panel, leaving a slight white border.

Cut several layers of grass border from green decorative paper, set aside.

Stamp all images using London Fog Memento, die cut each then color with alcohol inks.  Stamp sentiment using Cactus Flower Ink, die cut with circle, die cut frame with slightly larger circle from Raspberry color cardstock.  Cut Delicate Daisy corner from white.

Open card flat then glue Daisy Corner to right top corner of card.  Glue sentiment to center panel top. Glue bird house and fence to left panel.  Glue 1 bird to birdhouse, glue other bird to fence top.  Glue grass borders in layers leaving all grass tops open (so that you can stick flower stems into grass layers).

Arrange how you want flowers then glue to card.  Glitter card.

Thanks for visiting!

Grateful for You

 Good morning crafty friends!

Isn't it fun to combine new designs with the old ones?  How about this rusty old pail with some beautiful Irises in it? I love it, hope you do too.

This card is a window card actually, the sentiment is inside.

It makes me happy to see a bright sunny yellow card,
What do you think?

Card size:  4 3/4 X 6 3/4"

Make a shaped card with the outer die of Decorative Circle Frames from white cardstock (see video). Using the largest circle die, cut out center of card, front only.  Cut out yellow decorative paper with the same Decorative Circle die, use a slightly smaller circle to cut away center then glue to card front.

Cut out largest Decorative Circle Frame “decorative” die from white, cut out center with the largest circle die then glue or pop up on card front.

Using the eyelet circles in the large circle die set and the eyelet circles in the Decorative Circle Frames die set, cut alternating eyelet layers from white and yellow ending with white.

Stamp sentiment using Cactus Flower on the last white eyelet circle, glue stack of eyelet circles together.  Cut another yellow decorative paper layer for the inside of card using the outer die of Decorative Circle Frames, glue it to the inside of card (you will have to trim a little off the top to avoid the score/fold of card) then glue the stack of eyelet circles centering to inside so that it shows as center when card is closed.

Stamp the Bucket using black, die cut then color and set aside.  Stamp Irises using London Fog on some and Cactus Flower on some to create 3 flowers (3 1/2 flowers per flower used here), sponge with like colors, die cut.  Stamp leaves using Fern Green then sponge with Leaf Green, die cut. Shape flowers and leaves in the shaping mold (see video).  Finish shaping using the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit. (Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper used for flowers and leaves).

Make a slit at top of bucket rim, using hot glue, glue 2 flowers and 3-4 leaves to look like they are inside the bucket.  Pop up onto right bottom of card front, bend stems to go around circle opening.

Glue last flower to stem piece then glue leaf on top of stem and insert under bucket bottom then glue down to card bottom using hot glue, (Hot glue is best to make sure these 3D flowers stay glued to the card where you want them.

Glitter the flowers around all edges, glue the Flower Soft to Iris beards and then glaze leaves with lacquer.  Randomly glitter card base.

Just for You!

Good morning crafty friends and Happy Easter!

Today Heartfelt Creation is releasing the Garden Iris Collection!  What a beautiful flower right?

I have two cards to share this morning.

First is this slimline Z-fold card.

Card size:  8 /4 X 10 1/2" Opened

Cut a piece of white cardstock 8 1/2 X 10 1/2" then score at 3 1/2" and again at 7”. At the right side measure down from top to 5” then use the plain edge Curvy Accent die from the first 3 1/2" score down to the 5” mark. Cut decorative paper to match each panel of card, then glue to card except front piece, set aside until after the next step.

Use the lattice Curvy Accent die to cut the right (short) side. Cut the lattice Curvy Accent from silver as well then glue the silver behind the white lattice.  Take the decorative paper for the front and using the plain edge Curvy Accent die, cut to match curved white edge of card in front of lattice cut, (see sample).

Cut the Slim Lattice and decorative piece from Classic Floral Vase from white and from silver, then glue each piece to its mate slightly off-set.  Glue Slim Lattice to the inside and the decorative piece from vase set in front.

Stamp tall vase using black on lavender decorative paper, die cut then cut off top (tall part).  Shade with pens.

Stamp iris and small leaf several times using London Fog Memento.ink.  Die cut, sponge with Deep Purple, Sunflower and London Fog, form in mold and attach to stem pieces.  Glue leaves to stems. Attach stems behind vase then hot glue to card front.

Tie a multi-loop purple bow and glue to top of vase.

Second is this Mother's Day card with a beautiful Iris image.

Card size:  5 1/2 X 7 1/4”

Cut a card to 5 1/2 X 7 1/4" folded, from white cardstock. Cut a panel of silver 5 5/16 X 7 1/8, glue to card.  Cut a plaid panel from decorative paper then glue it to the silver.

Cut the Oval Filigree Frame outer die from silver and from white, glue together slightly off-set then pop up onto card.

Cut the inner oval from green decorative paper and from silver. Use the Curvy Accent lattice die to make a design in silver and in green then glue together off-set. Pop up onto white Oval Filigree.

Stamp Happy Mother’s Day using Deep Purple onto white then cut with circle die.  Cut a silver mat with a slightly larger circle.  Glue together then pop up on right top of green oval.

Stamp the large Iris image 2 times and just the largest iris 1 more time using black then color with Copic Markers or favorite coloring method. Die cut extra flowers and pop up on top of each other.  Glue to the left bottom section of green oval.

Add yellow Flower Soft or other yellow to iris beards then add Glitter to flowers.

Thanks so much for visiting!

Robin

For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. For one will scarcely die for a righteous person—though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die— but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
