Good morning everyone!!
Our Daily Bread Designs new release is all about stitching and sewing!
Today I have a card with a beautiful Victorian looking dress on a form.
I've used the new Doily die and some of the new paper collection, with lace, ribbon, buttons, pearls and machine sewing as well to create this card!
ODBD stamps used:
Elizabeth,
Doily Blessings
ODBD paper used:
Soulful Stitches Collection
ODBD dies used:
Doily
The dress is popped up with real lace (died to match) on top of the lace on paper. Because my dress and form has a string of pearls on it, I decided to use pearls in my design as well as buttons to go with the paper. First though, I added a pretty zig-zag stitch by machine. Lastly, I also added a ribbon with bow to match the ribbon on the dress. All the papers in this set are these beautiful green and peachy color which is so pretty...I love them!

This card reminds me of the Proverbs 31 woman. For those of you who know me in real life or maybe even on FB, you will know that my wonderful husband gives me flowers (or something nice) every time there is a 31st of the month. He told me it is because I am his Proverbs 31st woman. So sweet!!
So here is how part of it goes if you have never read it:
Proverbs 31:10-31 (just parts...go read it for the full version, you'll love it!)
Who can find a virtuous wife? For her worth is far above rubies. The heart of her husband safely trusts her; so he will have no lack of gain. She does him good and not evil all the days of her life. She seeks wool and flax, and willingly works with her hands....She makes linen garments and sells them, and supplies sashes for the merchants. Strength and honor are her clothing; she shall rejoice in time to come....Many daughters have done well, but you excel them all. Charm and beauty is passing, but a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised....
I look forward to seeing your creations. If you have any questions please
don't hesitate to email me.
