HC Candy Cane Poinsettias and Carolers

Good morning!
This paper works so well with the stamps and dies
I love how they just mesh so well!
I also used the Diamond Die in a different way, 1 vertical
and 1 horizontal to make a square (sort of square).

There is a bit of torn white paper for snow under their feet.

HC PRODUCTS USED

Other Products:
White cardstock, red Pan Pastels, White Liquid Applique, ribbon, 3M foam tape, Copic Markers: R21, R17, R29, YG05, YG17, C3, C5, C7, Y38, YR04, RV00, RV10, E51, Silver Delicata

For more tips on creating with the flower shaping molds, watch the tutorial at https://youtu.be/FSdPL7nXvQE.
Instructions:
Card size: 6 X 6”. Fold 12 X 6 white cardstock in half.  Cut a piece od red decorative paper 5 7/8 X 5 7/8” then glue it to the front of card.  Cut a piece of candy stripe red and white decorative paper 5 3/4 X 5 3/4" then glue it to the red on card. Now cut 2 white Petite Pocket Accents and 2 white Eyelet Diamonds.  Cut 2 red Diamonds one size smaller than the white Eyelet Diamonds. Glue the red Diamonds to the white Eyelet Diamonds.  Glue white Petite Pocket Accents to top and bottom with half circle facing toward the center of card.  Use foam tape or foam sheet to pop up Diamond sets.  Adhere one set of Diamonds horizontally and one set vertically to form a sort of star.

Cut the Candy Cane, With Love at Christmas Time rectangle out then mat it with more red paper 3 1/8 X 4 1/8”.  Mat again with white 3 1/4 X 4 1/4".  Glue all the layers together then pop up in the center of the “star”.  Tie a small bow with red and white ribbon then glue it to the top of the sentiment panel.

Stamp Christmas Poinsettias and Holly on white with Silver Delicata, die cut and use the mold  to form poinsettia blossoms (see video).  Once completely dry brush a tiny amount of red Pan Pastels onto the tips, keep flowers basically white.  Layer 3-4 blossoms together then glue red/green Prills in the centers then glitter with Crystal Clear.  Glue 2 blossoms to each side of sentiment panel.

Stamp Carolers on white with Black, die cut then color, add a little Liquid Applique onto the furry parts of the hat then heat to puff up.  Add a bit of Dries White and glitter to the snow at the feet of the penguins then pop up onto sentiment panel.  It takes a few layers of foam to make penguins level with the card base.

Psalm 40:2 New King James Version (NKJV)

2 He also brought me up out of a horrible pit,
Out of the miry clay,
And set my feet upon a rock,
And established my steps.
This is what God did for me.  To paint a picture,  He took me out of a pit where I seemed to be sinking lower and lower until I found myself up to my neck in muck.  I cried out to the Lord, I asked for His forgiveness and believed that Jesus died for my sin and rose again , that He is the son of God.  He became my Lord and my savior.  Then He lifted me out of the mucky pit and washed me clean and dressed me in clean fresh clothes and set me in His wonderful, warm, loving light.  Finally I was out of darkness, I could see, I was set free.  He has blessed my life ever since and is with me always.
God loved me even while I was full of muck and sin, an enemy of God.  Do I love my Lord, you bet I do, more than anything else.  I can't imagine life without Him in it.
This is what God has done for me and much, much more!!

Glue the door panel to the card base center leaving the door free to open and close.  Glue the 2 7/8 X 6” blue sky panels to the 2 inside 3 X 6” card panels.  Cut 2 pieces of red and white candy stripe paper 2 7/8 X 6” to cover front two 3 X 6” card base panels.

Cut 2 Heart of Joy Decorative dies (outside die) from white cardstock and cut 2 Heart of Joy Decorative dies (inside part of die) out of white, glue sets together.  Cut 2 pieces of white cardstock 3 X 2” and tear the top.  Glue to the bottom of red stripe paper.  Glue one Heart of Joy die cut to each 3” candy stripe panel with curve facing in toward center.  Cut 2 Fleur Border Basic “hills” out of white cardstock make a small slit in each hill to insert large candy cane then glue 1 to each side of the inside of card.  Cut a piece of white cardstock 12 X 1 1/2" then tear the top edge and glue it to the bottom of card (when gluing hills and ground snow, cut where the score lines are so that they don’t interfere with the fold).

Stamp cottage X 2, skier, sled penguins, carolers, fence X 2 and strands of Christmas lights using black.  Stamp trees X 3 using Veridian and stamp candy canes large and small, skis and sled runners using Red. Die cut and color all pieces.  Die cut extra cottage snowy roof then use Dries White Adhesive on it and glitter with Ultrafine Transparent.  Add Liquid Applique to furry parts of all hats and heat to puff up.  Add Dries White to snow on trees and snowballs then glitter.  Add Nuvo Crystal Glaze to lights.

To decorate: Outside-Glue white ribbon under cottage before gluing cottage to left side only of the front “gates”.  Pop up fence and small candy canes over the cottage on left side.  One right side pop up small section of fence and candy canes to card. Randomly glitter outside with Dries Clear and Ultrafine Transparent glitter.

Inside: Insert large candy canes, 1 on each side of inside through slits in hills (the candy canes are “poles” for the Christmas lights).  Glue strands of lights to top of card between candy canes.  Glue skier going downhill on the left side and sled on the left and center bottom along with 1 tree.  Glue another tree on the right side of center next to door and glue 1 of the carolers in front of the tree.  Glue the other 3 carolers and the last tree on the right side bottom of card.  Close door and secure with rubber band.  Randomly glitter sky with Dries Clear and Ultrafine Transparent glitter.  Add more snow to ground using Dries White and Ultrafine Glitter also add a little bit to slits and the bottom of candy canes.
Wrap ribbon around the card and tie it closed at the side.

For more tips on creating with the border dies & foldout cards, watch the tutorial at https://youtu.be/wxX94X84kUo.
Instructions:
Card size: 5 1/2 X 6 1/2".   Cut Decorative paper panels for each foldout side (except for the back of the card).  Cut from white cardstock, Starry Night Decorative Die and 3 Eyelet Fleur Basics Borders.  Tear white cardstock for snow ground on each of the panels.  Glue each decorative paper panel to it’s corresponding foldout panel and then glue each white torn edge snow ground pieces on. (the 3rd panel actually has NO decorative paper just a snowy hill front and back).    Glue the borders onto each panel matching curves (see video).  Glue the decorative Starry Night die to the back of the back panel.  (If you want a cleaner looking back you can glue the Starry Night die BETWEEN the card base and decorative paper).

Stamp using black, die cut and color the cottage (plus extra door, window snowy roof, and small round window), skating penguin (plus extra skaters), bear and penguin, trees (x5), sledding penguin, heel clicking penguin, carolers and skiing penguin (I stamped this in reverse as well so that each side of panel 3 had a skier…you can accomplish this by stamping the skier onto plain smooth rubber and then use that image to stamp onto white cardstock.  I did it in my Misti tool but you can do it without).  Also stamp Winter Wishes sentiment with Red, die cut with Tickets and Tags, stamp 2 large candy canes with Red and die cut.   Color all pieces with Copics or your favorite coloring method.  Stamp the sled runners and the skis again using Red Carnation then cut them out and glue them to your colored sled and skier.  Use foam tape or pop ups to pop up snowy roof, glue the extra window frame and door frame onto cottage.  Use White Liquid Applique on all furry hat parts then heat to puff.   Glue 2 trees to the back panel then pop up the cottage on top of them.  Pop up the heel clicking penguin along side the cottage.  Use Dries White Adhesive and  Crystal Clear on the snowy parts of cottage, trees, and ground.  Stamp sentiment onto white cardstock and circle cut it then sponge with Buttercup.  Glue this “sun” onto the top right of back panel.  Randomly glitter the sky parts with Dries Clear Adhesive and Ultrafine Transparent glitter.

Glue front and back of skier at the top of the hill, facing downward, onto panel 3.  Glue a tree to the left bottom of 3rd panel along with the sledding team at the bottom right.  Glitter snow with Dries White and Crystal Clear. (On the back of 3rd panel is the skier only along with glittered snow).

Glue the pond/skaters to the bottom right of panel 2 then pop up the extra skaters at their tops, gluing the feet that are on the ice.  Pop up a tree on the bottom left side.  Use Dries White and Crystal clear on the snow then Dries Clear and Ultrafine Transparent on the sky.  The back of panel 2 has snow only.

Panel 1 inside: Glue large candy cane to right side.  Pop up bear and penguin at right bottom. Glue sentiment to bottom left plus a few of the round snow balls.  Use Dries White and Crystal Clear for snow and Dries Clear and Ultrafine for the sky.  Panel 1 front: Glue a candy cane to match the inside, onto front left side.  Glue a tree next to it.  Pop up the carolers.  Cut a lantern out of the Candlelit paper to hang off the candy cane and glue it on.  As before, use Dries White and Crystal Clear for all the snow and use Dries Clear and Ultrafine for the sky parts.
Thank you for stopping by!  I really appreciate comments!

31 “When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the [c]holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. 32 All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. 33 And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left. 34 Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35 for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; 36 I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’

37 “Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? 38 When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? 39 Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ 40 And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’

41 “Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels: 42 for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink; 43 I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.’

44 “Then they also will answer [d]Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?’ 45 Then He will answer them, saying, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.’ 46 And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”  Matthew 25: 31-46

HC 10 X 10 Candlelit Scrapbook Page

Good morning!
This is my beautiful niece Bailey.  After opening one of her gifts she took the big red ribbon it was tied with and put it on her Santo hat.  I thought it was so cute I had to get a shot.  The photo
is not the best quality but I had to use it, this time will never come again like the running of a stream, it is never the same drops of water that flow by.
It may not look like it in this photo but she is the ultimate cowgirl
and she ropes calves in rodeos too!
She was in high school rodeo doing most all the events including cow "cutting" but after 10 years she likes roping the best.
She is the sweetest cowgirl you would ever want to know!

Other Products:
White cardstock, Ivory cardstock, Dylusion sprays in Red and yellow, Copic: E50, E51, E53, E21, R21, R24, R29, G24, G85, YG61, YG63, YG67, Y11, Y15, Y38, B00, B01, C1, C3

For more tips on creating with the flower shaping molds, watch the tutorial at https://youtu.be/FSdPL7nXvQE
Instructions:
Size: 10 X 10”  Start with a 12 X 12” decorative sheet with poinsettia corners.  Cut each corner off starting at 6” mark at top and going to 6” mark at side for each.  Cut the center portion of paper down by an 1” on top and bottom also 1” on each side.   Cut a white 12 X 12 to 10 X 10 and glue the center red piece and 4 corners back together to reform page.  Use the cut lines to place 3 decorative borders from the Starry Night Decorative Die cut from Ivory cardstock.  Cut 1 Adorn It from ivory using any of the decorative slits for the picture to slide into.  Find the place where you will glue the Adorn It die cut and make a mark on each side of the slit.  Take the die cut away and use a kraft knife to cut a slit into JUST the red paper (not through the cardstock behind it).  Now glue the Adorn It die cut onto page so that slits match and you can now insert a photo.

Mat a photo with green decorative paper and glue photo to it then insert into pocket (the sample page has the photo glued to the page but you wouldn’t have to do that so that you could slide the photo in and out if desired).  Cut 2 hearts from red and 2 eyelet hearts from ivory, glue together and pop up on 2 horizontal corners. Cut 4 ivory corners from Album tags and Accents and glue them to the 4 corners of 10 X 10” page.

Stamp, die cut and color large candle, poinsettia blossoms and holly with berries.  Shape the flowers with the shaping mold (see video) and slightly shape holly with berries.  Glue 3 layers of poinsettias together and add Prills to the center of poinsettias.  Arrange Candle, poinsettias and holly in the left lower corner of photo pocket.

Add glitter to the page randomly and to the flowers.

My next card is a fun underwater tropic scene using a diorama box with 4 layers plus the back for a real 3D look.

White cardstock, Nuvo Crystal Drops- Morning Dew, pearls, Nuvo Crystal Glaze, foam tape, Nuvo Glitter Gloss Aqua Shimmer (or Wink of Stella), Copic Markers: Y11, Y15, Y38, YR04, E50, E51, E53, E21, YR21, YR24, R21, R22, V01, V12, V15, YG03, YG17, RV00, RV10, RV02, RV55, BG11, BG32.

For more tips on creating with the flower shaping molds, watch the tutorial at https://youtu.be/FSdPL7nXvQE
Instructions:
Card size: 6 1/4 X 6 1/4".  Use the shadow box that comes with the 6 X 6 foldout cards and construct the box without gluing it yet.  Use some foam between the layer tabs at the bottom of the box to keep them apart for display.  Cover the back with decorative Under The Sea Paper (6 1/8 X 6 1/8”) Make sure to put it on going the right direction when box is closed.   Cut decorative paper for the front, sides and back of box.  To cut the opening, place the front paper inside front and trace the opening onto it then hand cut.  Glue front and side on, set aside the paper for the back.

Stamp using black, coral X 3, shells, fish, and plant life(Rain Boots and Blossoms & Backyard Blossoms) on white, die cut and color.  Stamp flowers using Buttercup, Tiger Lily, Deep Purple, Magenta Hue and Rose Madder. Sponge with the same colors and create center colors mixing and matching ink colors above.  Die cut and start the shaping in the 3D Floral Basics Shaping Mold.  While still damp, pinch creases in petals created by the mold just to deepen them.  Glue 2 different sizes together except small flowers which are singles then add Prills to centers and stigma.  Stamp, sponge die cut leaves using Fern Green and Leaf Green.

Glue coral to the front bottom and sides and cut off excess from 1 side (save it).  Glue sand color card stock, shells, more coral to the bottom, divided layer tabs.  Glue plant life mainly on the sides of opening and a little on the back layer.

Stamp sentiment onto decorative water paper then circle cut.  Cut a white mat a little larger then glue them together and glue to the back water scene.  Pop up fish around the sentiment.  Apply Nuvo drops as bubbles on the background coming from the coral and the fish.

Re-construct box now gluing the back tabs onto the back of the back scene.  Cover with set aside 6 1/8 X 6 1/8 decorative paper (or plain white cardstock).  Once glue is set, decorate the top of box with the leaves and flowers. Glitter all the flowers, add pearls around in coral and in shell.  Use Nuvo Shimmer brush on the fish.

Psalm 119:160 New King James Version (NKJV)

160 The entirety of Your word is truth,
And every one of Your righteous judgments endures forever.
A lot of people think that what the social standards are is right and good but that social standard changes constantly...Is that really where we want to put our trust as far as what is right and wrong?
My trust is in God who never changes and His law which He really makes simple, all the commandments can be boiled down to this "Love the lord your God with all your heart, soul, body and mind and love your neighbor as yourself".
