Happy Mother's Day!

Good morning!

Aren't these daffodils so beautiful?
This is the time for them to be sure, our are a little late
(They usually come in mid February and then are snowed on
the 3rd week of February, LOL!)
This year they are barely making an appearance above ground.
I was starting to wonder if something got to them and we weren't
going to see them at all!
My card is a Mother's Day wish today.
My own mom has been gone for quite some time but
I do feel the miss of her very much this time of year
and always want to make a Mother's Day card to
remember her.

Instructions

Card size: 5 5/8 X 6 3/4". (See video for cutting shaped cards), Cut white cardstock 7 X 11 then fold in half.  Place outer die of Elaborate Oval Frames so that top of die hangs off fold about 1/2".    Cut another outer die out of Luxe Gold then glue it to white folded card base.  Cut the large decorative part of die out of white and out of foam sheet.  Stack and glue then glue to the gold.  Cut Album Tag and Accents out of white also out of foam sheet, mat out of gold.  Stamp sentiment onto white layer, emboss with gold.  Glue tags together with mat and foam then glue them to the card center.

Cut 2 Sweetheart wide Borders out of white.  Glue one to the front and one to the back for a stand so that card sits straight while on display.

Stamp large daffodil using black, die cut then color with Copics or favorite coloring method.  Glue the daffodil to bottom and right side of the Elaborate Oval Frames.

Glue a gold metallic bow to the bottom of daffodil stem.  Glitter flower and white parts of the card.

Instructions:

Card size: 5 X 7”.  Cut white cardstock 7 X 11, fold in have then lay outer die of the Regal Lattice Gateway onto folded card with left side hanging off the edge enough so that the fold does not cut completely off. Cut outer die again from white linen then glue to the top of the card base (this will make a completed looking top so that one side is not flat with the fold).   This last step is important to make the front look right.  Cut the inner lattice from white linen and foam sheet.  Cut inner arched non lattice die out of blue decorative paper.  Glue the foam and white linen lattice on top of the blue arch then glue to the card front.

Stamp the sentiment using Summer Sky Memento onto white then die cut with small tag of Alum Tags and Accents.  Stamp bouquet on white using black, die cut then color with Copics or favorite coloring method.  Glue the bouquet to the front of lattice then add a blue bow to the bottom.  Add a blue ribbon to the tag and glue the tag above the bouquet.

Sponge adhesive all over card and flowers then sprinkle with glitter.

My next card uses the Gateway Dies as well
and includes the new Daffodil Sprays!

Let's Celebrate

Good morning!
Spring is in the air...well maybe, but this is the time when the daffodils start to bloom regardless.  Where we live the daffodils bloom in February and they are not yet in full bloom when it snows.
It never fails! LOL!
My card today features the new daffodils and a very
delightful butterfly.

Like Dancing Scrapbook page

Good morning!
I rarely do scrapbook pages anymore since everyone is grown
but I came across some photos that I had taken of my great niece
a few years back and thought at least one of them would make a
great page, so here we are.
The title came from a painting that Tim Cox did called "Like A Dance".
Some closer photos of the flowers and different parts and pieces.
