Heartfelt Gold and Silver Ornament

Good morning!
I've turned the ornament die into a 3-D ornament making 4 each of the
gold and silver.  Full instructions below.
I've also made a card with the ornament die, you'll find it below as well!
I had a blast using these stamps and dies, everything is just beautiful
in the Oh Holy Night collection.

Heartfelt Creations products used:

Other Products:
Gold metallic textured card stock, Silver metallic textured card stock, Gold half beads, Gold drilled bead, snowflake silver charm, Silver thread, gold trim shimmer ribbon.

Cut 4 ornament base die cuts from gold textured card stock and cut 4 inner decorative ornaments from silver textured card stock.  Score and fold each ornament part in the center.  Glue the half side of one to the half side of another and continue doing this until you meet on the last side with the first side…make sure you string some thread between halves to use as a hanger and also to string a bead on at the bottom.   Let each side dry thoroughly before gluing the next piece on using little clamps to keep ornament parts tight while it dries (especially when using the metallic paper as it has a sleek back).
Once everything is dry, take all the clamps off and start gluing the silver ornament parts inside the gold.  Again, make sure each side is thoroughly dry before gluing the next one on.  Now decorate by placing adhesive backed gold half beads on the center of each snowflake design in the ornament.  Next place drops of silver Nuvo on each little scroll end.  Add a nice big gold bow at the top and at the bottom string your thread ends through a gold bead and then tie a silver snowflake charm under the bead, make it tight against the ornament.  Put a little glue on the knot for the charm and when the glue dries cut off the ends of the threads right to the charm.

Since I was in the gold mood my card is full of it too!

Other Products:
Gold card stock, crème shimmer card stock, white card stock, pearl halves, gold fine line embossing powder, VersaMark, gold cord, gold metallic ribbon,  Copic Markers: BV20,C01,C03,C05,C07,E93,E000,E00,E01,E53E33,E35,E37,E97,E50,E51,E42,E43,E44,B21,B91,B93,YG61,G82,R11,R21,R22,R24,Y32,Y15,YR23,YR27,YG63,YG67,YG07

Card size: 5 3/4 X 6” Start with an 8 1/2 by 11 sheet of cream shimmer card stock for the base (even though the card measures 6” across you can use this size card stock as the front is narrower) score at 6” and then glue a piece of decorative paper 5 X 5 1/2  to a panel of gold 5 X 5 5/8  to the front leaving 1/8 border around the top, folded edge and bottom,  then place the plain edge die from Classic Borders on the cut edge of the front to die cut and make a decorative front to the card.  Cut a piece of gold with the fancy Delicate Border and glue to the back of the front curved edge to match curves. Cut another piece of decorative paper 2 3/4 X 5 1/2 and die cut the left side with the plain Classic die (keep the piece you cut off for the back of the front to make the edge look nice while card is open).  Glue the decorative paper to a gold panel 5 3/4 X 5 5/8 and cut another gold decorative border from the Delicate Borders to cover the paper’s cut edge (plain curves against the gold) embellish “seam” with cream pearls.  Finish the inside with the large sentiment from the Noel Sentiments, stamping with VersaMark on cream shimmer and embossing with golf fine line powder. Matthew 2:9-11 tells of the wise men and their gifts to the King of kings, Jesus.

When they heard the king, they departed; and behold, the star which they had seen in the East went before them, till it came and stood over where the young Child was. 10 When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceedingly great joy. 11 And when they had come into the house, they saw the young Child with Mary His mother, and fell down and worshiped Him. And when they had opened their treasures, they presented gifts to Him: gold, frankincense, and myrrh.

Luke 2:7-14
She gave birth to her firstborn son. She wrapped him snugly in strips of cloth and laid him in a manger, because there was no lodging available for them.
That night there were shepherds staying in the fields nearby, guarding their flocks of sheep. Suddenly, an angel of the Lord appeared among them, and the radiance of the Lord’s glory surrounded them. They were terrified, 10 but the angel reassured them. “Don’t be afraid!” he said. “I bring you good news that will bring great joy to all people. 11 The Savior—yes, the Messiah, the Lord—has been born today in Bethlehem, the city of David! 12 And you will recognize him by this sign: You will find a baby wrapped snugly in strips of cloth, lying in a manger.”
13 Suddenly, the angel was joined by a vast host of others—the armies of heaven—praising God and saying,
14 “Glory to God in highest heaven,
and peace on earth to those with whom God is pleased.”

Other Products:
3M Foam Tape, white card stock, tan card stock, London Fog Memento, Copic: YR24, YR31, Y21, Y11, Y15,E95, E42, E43, E44, E53, E33, E35, E93, R11, R20, R21, B21, B91, B93, B95, C01, C03, C03, C05, BV20, V01, E000, E00, E01,R22,YG61,YG82

Card size: closed-7 1/4 X 5 1/4” Open-7” X 5 1/4”  Cut white card stock  10 7/8” X 5 1/2”  and fold into thirds, cut the top with the scallop edge of the Ornate Borders, fold two outer panels into half and use a bone folder to get  good crease. Cut decorative paper for each panel and then cut the tops with the plan edge die of the Ornate Borders. Glue each matching panel to the white card.  Cut the bridge from tan card stock 2” X 7” then cut the top with the plain edge die of the Fleur Border Basics Die.  Cut 2 tan “dirt” panels from tan card stock for the back panel but leave the top open for now to insert bottom of the town of Bethlehem after stamping and die cutting 1 with London Fog ink and 1 with black ink.
Stamp, die cut and color the Holy family, the shepherds, the angels, and the palm tree.  Use a solid plain piece of rubber to create a reverse image of the shepherds then cut out only the end shepherd to put on the right side of the bridge with the palm tree. I cut the coconuts off the tree as it looked too tropical.  To reverse the image I used my Misti with a plain sheet of rubber.  I attached the plain rubber to the acrylic side like you would a stamp and had paper on the other side secured with magnets.  I stamped the shepherds onto the plain rubber then immediately stamped the plain rubber onto the paper making the reverse image.  I had to fussy cut as the die cannot be used on the reverse image.
Use gold glitter on the star and on the angel halos, Fine glitter on the wings and glass shards on the stars in the sky.  Glue the angels above the Holy family and the Holy family down on the center portion of the bridge.  Foam tape the shepherd group to the left side and the single shepherd on the right, also foam taped, along with the glued flat to card tree.   Card will fold flat going either direction for easy mailing.

Matthew 1:18-25
18 This is how Jesus the Messiah was born. His mother, Mary, was engaged to be married to Joseph. But before the marriage took place, while she was still a virgin, she became pregnant through the power of the Holy Spirit. 19 Joseph, to whom she was engaged, was a righteous man and did not want to disgrace her publicly, so he decided to break the engagement[h] quietly.
20 As he considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream. “Joseph, son of David,” the angel said, “do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife. For the child within her was conceived by the Holy Spirit. 21 And she will have a son, and you are to name him Jesus,[i] for he will save his people from their sins.”
22 All of this occurred to fulfill the Lord’s message through his prophet:
23 “Look! The virgin will conceive a child!
She will give birth to a son,
and they will call him Immanuel,[j]
which means ‘God is with us.’”

24 When Joseph woke up, he did as the angel of the Lord commanded and took Mary as his wife. 25 But he did not have sexual relations with her until her son was born. And Joseph named him Jesus.

Use a piece of pale yellow decorative paper to cover it stamping it with the honeycomb first using Wild Honey Distress Ink. Insert a piece of twine at the top for a hanger.  Stamp 2 Bee Bungalows with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, die cut and color with Copics (or favorite coloring method).  Stamp the small bees, die cut and color.  Stamp Lilacs with Majestic Violet and Wildwood Florals with Buttercup and Vibrant Fuchsia, die cut, color with sponges and ink color stamped with.  Use the Lilac Flower Shaping mold for the Lilacs and the Deluxe Flower Shaping kit for the Wildwood Florals to shape flowers.  Inset stamen in the Lilacs and Use Prills for the Wildwood Florals in the centers.
Cover box sides and roof with the stamped decorative paper then glue bungalows on front and back…glitter Bungalow except window with Crystal Clear then glitter windows and bee’s wings with Ultrafine Crystal Transparent.  Glue strips of acetate to the back of bees.   Now start decorating the front and back of box with flowers, bees and the gold half balls (door knobs).  Use the Twine hanger to hang ornament on an ornament hanger or on whatever you desire.
