September Die of the Month

 


I just love the retro look of this gumball machine die set, it makes the cutest card
and I've been dying to try it. 
Today I've made a 3D card and a slimline card.
 
The dies were supplied by Amazing Paper Grace to create today's projects.

There are 26 cutting dies included in the Pop Up 3D Vignette Bubble Gum Machine.

August Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month

 


I love window type cards using acetate, so I made one vertical and one horizontal 
using each trellis in the Amazing Paper Grace Die of The Month for August set.
I think these would also make beautiful shaker cards, don't you?
I embellished the trellis on both cards with beautiful gems from Spellbinders.

Today's creations were created with the dies supplied by Amazing Paper Grace.

There are 13 cutting dies included in the Peekaboo Trellis Panels.

July DOM Amazing Paper Grace

 




I love making Trifold cards and this die is perfect because the sides do not cut.
Amazing Paper Grace is genius!
Before it was a stress trying to be so careful with cutting plate placement and cutting, 
sometimes needing a bigger machine to accomplish the task.

Amazing Die of The Month for April



Pop Up 3D Vignette Watering Can Bouquet, the Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month for April

I have always loved the look of rusty old stuff, in my yard and yes, even in the house.  A rusty water pail is amazing to me, so I wanted to try and re-create what I see so often.  
I've noticed over the years old rusty watering pails and/or wheel barrels, etc. are often used for planters, perfect!  This month we have this 3D watering pail and flowers to go with, what could be better than that!!
 
My creations were created today with dies provided by Amazing Paper Grace.

There are 15 dies included in the Pop Up 3D Vignette Watering Can Bouquet.
 



I also made this card to go with the 3D Watering Can.  I grunged it up a bit to better photograph with the rusty 3D can with Spring flowers.  
I used Tea Stain Distress Ink to age it.
I did not actually make them to go together as both are essentially cards otherwise I would have used silver or gray paper to make the can on the slimline card.  I just really wanted to show a whole different way to use this cute can and the flowers!

White cardstock, Black cardstock, Pink cardstock, green cardstock, Foam sheets, form tape, iridescent baubles, Tea Stain Distress Ink, sponges, Dries Clear Adhesive. Copic Markers for coloring the can on the 3D card, and spray inks (various) to make backgrounds for cutting out flowers.

AMAZING PAPER GRACE DIE OF THE MONTH -MARCH

 


This new die is perfect for a shaped card and I love making shaped cards. A lot of times I like lining white die cuts with silver or gold because it gives just a bit of glitz to any card.  The Bella Ovalette is also perfect for using just  parts of to decorate a 3D projects like the box I've made here.  Gift boxes are fun to give little trinkets to your friends and family and they are easy to make.  The Bella Ovalette is the perfect die set to decorate with.
 
My creations were created today with dies provided by Amazing Paper Grace.

There are 12 dies included in the Bella Ovalette.



I used The Bella Ovalette cut from white cardstock and also from silver cardstock over some multi-color watercolor looking decorative paper.

My second project also uses the Bella Ovalette cut from white.
I made a box then used the Bella Ovalette on each side.
  
        I used the center portion on the box lid along with the pretty flowers.

February Die of The Month from Amazing Paper Grace

 


I love making shaped cards so when I see a beautifully shaped die set my first thought goes there.  I have some paper with gold embossed lines and some gold mirror paper, I'm halfway there!! 
Today I have used the dies in both directions, one shaped card with a horizontal center line and one traditional square card with center line at the vertical.  I love both don't you?  Tell me, which design do you like best?

My Project Today using Pop Up 3D Vignette Christmas Tree
I made a White and Silver Metallic 3D Christmas Tree plus a White and Metallic Silver Christmas tree card to go with, I added bits of Silver Glitter paper for accents.   I plan to give this set to my sister because she loves white/crystal/silver Christmas trees!
 
Designer Tip:  #1 Decorate the front of Christmas Tree stand before putting it all together.
#2 I put my tree spacers on as I went to make sure the heights were all about the same (the spacers keep each tree section from falling into each other while on display.
 


 
Paper: Metallic Silver, Glitter paper silver, white on white or silver on white print from my stash.
