DRS Challenge #213-All Warm or all Cool

Good morning!

This week the challenge is to use all warm colors or all cool colors.

My card today is all cool colors.

I've used DRS stamps: Woven Plaid 613P  and 1096L Leprechaun Gold Guard. My gold is actually very light yellow green with some silver metallic dots to give it some shimmer so officially I did not go over to the warm side.

I did the A-2 panel with my plaid then cut out a frame for the outside and popped it up. I then cut the inside a bit smaller to show some white and glued it flat to the base.  I colored and cut out my image with a die.  His pants have the same basic plaid colors as the background (I drew the plaid on with pens).  I cut out some shamrocks with a die and tied a nice sheer green bow.

DRS Challenge #212 Lucky Charms

Good morning!
Time for a new challenge.  This week at DRS Designs you need to portray your "lucky" charm
 or use a charm in some way.
I made some charms with Shrinky Dink (Shrink Plastic).

Under my bow I have strung my shrink plastic charms.  The shamrocks are from a die and the Celtic cross-Infinity Shamrock 281E, is stamped and cut out.  These were all about 4 times the size when they started out.  I punched 1/8" holes at the top of the shamrocks (hoping that would be large enough after shrinking), to thread some floss through for stringing.  That worked just fine, I don't think I would go any smaller.  You can't wait until after shrinking because the plastic gets thicker and much harder.

For the card itself I stamped the new release Tall Shamrocks 681G and Shamrocks and Shenanigans 692F onto white cardstock and colored with Copics- YG03, & YG23. and made a frame with the My Favorite Things rectangle stitched frame.  That is about it except for the sheer ribbon bow.

DRS Challenge #211 Sparkle and Shine

Good morning!
Here is my sparkle and shine card for the new challenge.
I used several coats of Heavy clear embossing powder on my die cut shamrocks to make them shine.

I also used gold chunky embossing powder on the Shamrock Background 326H making my framing for the image and on the image itself 521L Sean & the Rainbow.  I did color the image first, of course, with Copic Markers. 

My gold and black framing dies are Spellbinders, along with the Shamrock frame and image dies.

The sentiment stamp is a new release.

DRS Challenge 164 Buttons

Good morning!

Our new challenge for this week is to use buttons.  I've used just one button

 but you can use as many as you'd like!

DRS stamps used: 326H Shamrock background, 281E Infinity Shamrock, 284F Four Leaf Clover Friends, 613P Woven Plaid.
Celtic border die by Cheery Lynn, Image die Decorative Labels 22 and mat Labels 22.
Embossing folder by Elizabeth Craft Designs.
I used the cut apart Woven Plaid stamp to make the background with various colors of green and then I used the shamrock background over that.  On plain white cardstock I stamped the Infinity Shamrock in green and then colored it with Copic Markers, I then stamped the sentiment on top of it with black and die cut it using the Decorative Labels 22.  The mat is Labels 22 embossed.  I used foam tape between each layer..  Before attaching it to my card base I wrapped my background with ribbon.  The Celtic border had to be cut down to fit before gluing to the background.  Once the ribbon was attached, I glued the background piece to the card base and foam taped my layers on top.
Lastly I made my bow, threaded the button with floss and glued them to the card!

DRS Challenge #162 Color

Good morning to you all!

Valentine's Day is gone so we're off to the next holiday!

DRS stamps used:  One line St Patricks Day 636D , Shawn and the Rainbow 521L, Four leaf clover 890A

This week's challenge is taken from the photo below.

Look at that character!  He thinks he's hiding behind the multi-green colored rainbow and pot of gold!  Silly man!!
