Instructions:
Card size: 5 1/2 X 7”.  Make card base out of 2 pieces of white cards stock both 5 1/2 X 7” then score 1 piece at 1/2" on long side, use this piece to be the front.  Texture front piece with an embossing folder (this diamond design folder is from Cuttlebug, a 5 X 7” folder).  Use the Eyelet edge of the Fleur Border Basics to die cut the edge and make a border all at once.  Make a window using the Rounded Lattice Window Die from white.  Make a heart window by cutting out the largest Eyelet hear from white and while die is still in place lightly mark around the inside of the die then hand cut at the line and ease all showing pencil.  Glue your Heart window to the Lattice Window and cut off excess.  Make one more heart frame for the back side of the window.  Place the heart die on the curved edge of the card front and draw a line inside the die again then cut away on the line.  Glue the Eyelet Heart with insert onto the open space of the card front then glue the extra heart frame on the back to make a nice finish.  Now, glue the front to the back of card using the 1/2" tab made front scoring.

Glue a piece of decorative paper 5 1/2 X 7” to the inside then stamp Happy Anniversary using Deep Purple (on the top half toward the inside so that it is not seen front the front when the card is closed).  Cut a piece of vellum 5 1/2 X 7, glue it to the inside, folded edge over decorative paper.

Stamp double swan using London Gray Memento, color the flowers and swans with Copic Markers (or your favorite coloring system), die cut then shape the back slightly using the large ball stylist and mat from the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit. Then adhere foam tape (or favorite pop up) to the back of swans and most of the flowers, (Double pop the center portion of the swans),  Use a fine line of glue for the bottom of the swans then adhere them to the vellum bottom right (make sure to hold down the bottom of the swans until glue is set).

Using a sea sponge, dab vellum all over (except swans) with Dries Clear then sprinkle with Ultrafine glitter.  Add a small line of pearls to the top outside edge then add some glue under the pearls and the swans to hold vellum down (if desired, it is fine unglued too).  Add single pearls to the heart/lattice window and add the Nuvo drops to the embossing.  Stamp sentiment “On Your Special Day” using Deep Purple onto a piece of matching decorative paper, cut it top and bottom to make a banner and fish tail cut the ends.  Curl it and glue it to the window,  Make sure the card is NOT closed when you glue the sentiment on or you might glue the card closed.

My seond card is a Christmas card (well it IS December after all)
I used the Arianna Lace Dies to make a large snowflake.

The beginning-the reason for the season
Luke 1:26-28, 29-38
the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth, 27 to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David. The virgin’s name was Mary. 28 And having come in, the angel said to her, “Rejoice, highly favored one, the Lord is with you; [e]blessed are you among women!”
30 Then the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. 31 And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name Jesus. 32 He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David. 33 And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end.”
34 Then Mary said to the angel, “How can this be, since I [g]do not know a man?”

35 And the angel answered and said to her, The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God.
And Mary said: “My soul magnifies the Lord, And my spirit has rejoiced in God my Savior. For He who is mighty has done great things for me, And holy is His name.

HC Cally Lily Debut, Everything To Me Bendi-Front

Good morning!

"Whimsically delicate, the delightful Calla Lily Collection lays the perfect foundation for creating beautiful projects for any occasion! Tender illustrations of graceful swans and floral sprays establish a quaint assembling of unassuming cling stamp sets, along with the coordinating dies, while an array of die cut Calla Lily petals and foliage illustrations work in unison to create realistic, dimensional blossoms!"
Today I have a Bendi type card for you using the new
exquisite Calla Lily Collection.
The front only is Bendi Using the Window Hinges to secure
and release so that it can also be opened up
to write your own personal message inside.
I love how the Bendi-front gives the card so much
extra dimension.  The new Calla Lilies come with a special
mold for easy creating.  I did use some tools as
well to curl some of the petals differently so that they
are all a bit different as you would see in your garden.

This is a close up of the closure system.  The left side simply tucks under the stationary
right side to keep it closed.  It displays so elegantly closed.

I used a fun foam sheet, die cut, to pop up the swan.

These new Pollen Stamen are perfect!

Instructions:
Instructions: Card size 6 X 6 1/8”.  Start with a 6 X 6 1/2" white panel and score at 3/8” on the 6 1/2" side.  The other piece of white cardstock is 6 X 6 1/8”.  On the scored panel, emboss the left side starting after the score line.  Cut the outer edge of the Rounded Window Frame leaving about 1/2" of embossing at the widest part of the round die, this will leave you with a panel 3 X 6”.  Now glue the score edge to the back 6 X 6 1/8” panel.  Cut 2 white outer edge of the Rounded Window Frame then cut 1 of the next largest decorative circles from the set cutting out the center with the largest circle die.

Glue the first outer white die cut onto the cut out edge of the front panel…it is a little tricky but slightly overlap to have something to glue on.  Now glue the second white outer die cut to the back side doing the same thing.  Glue a hinge piece cut from white at the outside right edge of front circle panel hanging over about 1/4".

For the inside Cut 4 corners from the Ornate Pocket Accents, 1 eyelet circle and another hinge piece from white.  Glue the Eyelet circle to be directly below the front panel circle cut out.  Cut a decorative circle with the largest circle die from the paper collection and glue it to the Eyelet circle.  Glue the 4 corners on to the 4 corners of the back panel, edges over-lapping the Eyelet circle.  Pop up the white hinge at the outer edge of the back panel to match the hinge on the circle (the hinge on the circle front will clasp under the popped up hinge on the card back).

Stamp Lilies using Rose Madder then sponge with Pink Peony. Stamp small leaves using Fern Green then sponge with Leaf Green.  Form flowers and leaf in the Shaping Mold (see video) Sponge wires of stamen with Fern Green then glue stamen in the center of flowers and curl flower around it. Glue it and hold closed until set…set aside to thoroughly dry while working on the next flower.  Twist wire stems together and glue 1 leaf onto the twisted stem.   Use heavy weight glue or glue gun to attach flowers to the front left side of card front.

Stamp the swan with babies on her back using London Fog . Color the swan and flowers with Copic Markers.  Cut another swam from foam sheet.  And glue it to the back of swan (just the swan not the flowers).  Glue the flowers and swan to the decorative paper circle.  Cut sentiment from decorative paper and fish tail the ends then curl it and glue it above the swan.  Add glitter to front and inside of card and on the flowers.

Luke 2:4b-7
to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and lineage of David, to be registered with Mary, his betrothed [a]wife, who was with child. So it was, that while they were there, the days were completed for her to be delivered. And she brought forth her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling cloths, and laid Him in a [b]manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.
Luke 2:9-11
And [c]behold, an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were greatly afraid. 10 Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. 11 For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.

Stamp the Trout Stream and the Mountains using black and die cut using the part of the dies that cut the tops only.  Stamp an extra fish and rocks then die cut.  Color all with Copics then slide the mountains behind tree line.  Place the Oval Die over scene leaving the tops of trees and mountain on top of die so they don’t cut.  Cut another oval from white and color sky section and any grass needed between mountains and trees.  Glue the mountain/trout stream scene to the colored oval then glue to the white Eyelet Oval.  Pop up fish and extra rocks.  Add Snow Pen to splash and heat to puff.

Stamp Happy Birthday with Majestic Violet onto white scrap and die cut with the Tickets and Tags Die.  Sponge edge with Majestic Violet and add a ribbon to the top.  Stamp blossoms using Majestic Violet and also Deep Purple.  Sponge with same colors and die cut then shape in mold (see video).  Stamp leaves with Fern Green and sponge with Leaf Green then die cut and shape in mold.  Glue 2 blossoms together for each flower then add Prills to the centers.

Arrange flowers and leaves on the left side of the scenic oval and stick the tag into arrangement.  Glitter all the flowers.

My second card uses one of the new card bases and
circular die sets.

On the inside of card, cut 1 piece of 6 X 12 decorative paper with the cabin then cut it in 3 pieces to fit each section, leave plenty of room for the scored folds.  Cut the outside pieces with die to fit card then glue each panel down to card base.

Pop up the bottom duck and add snow pen to splashes then heat to puff up. Glue buck to left side at the bottom and glue last part of foreground in front of him.

The Messiah
Prophesied long before He came

Isaiah 9:5-7 New King James Version (NKJV)

For every warrior’s [a]sandal from the noisy battle,
And garments rolled in blood,
Will be used for burning and fuel [b]of fire.

For unto us a Child is born,
Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Of the increase of His government and peace
There will be no end,
Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom,
To order it and establish it with judgment and justice
From that time forward, even forever.
The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.

Isaiah 53:1-3 New King James Version (NKJV)

53 Who has believed our report?
And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?
For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant,
And as a root out of dry ground.
He has no [a]form or [b]comeliness;
And when we see Him,
There is no [c]beauty that we should desire Him.
He is despised and [d]rejected by men,
A Man of [e]sorrows and acquainted with [f]grief.
And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him;
He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.
