Good morning!
Our April Monthly Challenge...Spring has Sprung- Blooming with Die-Cut Flowers.
This is my 5 sided lantern using the Luminous Lantern set with the pentagon bottom instead of the square bottom.
I've made my lantern to look like a Gazebo.
On this lantern I've tucked the top flaps inside (see this post, to see the 4 sided lantern with flaps flared out)
So, I cut 5 side panels and a bottom, Cut the inset out of each side, cut 4 or 5 fence pieces, vellum for behind the fence (to cut down on the clutter), and cut my grass pieces (4 or 5).
I used the same green and cut the fancy Foliage X 3 and the Rose Leaves.
I then cut multiple of the smallest Rose pieces.
I decided to glue my lantern together before decorating, it just seemed easier. I then started forming the buds and gluing them together with the foliage onto the lantern.
I glued the vellum to the back of the fence pieces, scored the fence pieces to match up with the folds of the lantern and glued them down then followed with the grass.
I have a battery operated tea light in the lantern, and the top is closed using purple floss.
My bow at the bottom is dyed seam binding.

Easter, the best news of all
But he (the angel) said to them, “Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He is risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid Him.

Oh my! ROBIN! This is gorgeous, and I am in awe of the flowers with the two colors and the vines/leaves as they are growing on this stunning lantern. What an amazing piece of art, and I love the precious fence with the grass. And the ribbon finishes it off beautifully! Stunning, precious friend! Hugs! xoxo
