Pretty yellow and pink and lots of glitter make this a special card.

Elizabeth Craft Designs-Gatefold

 Hello friends!

Today I'm sharing a gatefold card.  I used the Fitted Indented Rectangles to make a shaped window in my "gate".

Use the largest rectangle to make the base out of white, cardstock will be folded in the gatefold style but just a fraction of an inch narrower than the die so that the edges do not cut.  Cut another front from pick with a smaller die in the center making a frame and run through the machine with flower embossing folder then cut down the center to make 2 halves.  Cut the inside front with a smaller die and a smaller die yet inside making another frame then cut in half,  glue the smallest frame to the front. Glue on top of the small frame.  Cut a panel to fit inside card and glue it down.  Use one of the smaller rectangles for the sentiment, die cut then pop up.  Now decorate with flowers and leaves.

In this photo you can see that I used an embossing folder on the top layer.

Elizabeth Craft Designs-Love Birds

 Hello crafting friends!!

Today we have some cute love birds.  This could be for an Anniversary or a new baby, maybe even a wedding gift card.

Make the card base by folding a piece of white cardstock, 4" X 9", in half.  Place the die so that about 1/2" of the die hangs over the folded edge and then die cut.  Fold one of the halves in half again then die cut another full front from white.  Glue the front to the side that was folded half but just on the bottom half. (I close the card base fully to do this, place the full front on top to line it up exactly then put glue at the bottom only up to the fold line). Now cut out decorative paper and decorative die cuts trimming as needed (at the inside top portion).
Birds, flowers and leaves colored with brushes and Oxide ink.
