HC Black and Red Candlelit Christmas

Good morning!
I thought this was a bit different.  I really like red and green with black so I had it in my mind to do this card.

Instructions:
Card size: 6 X 6. Cut black card stock, one 6 X 6 and one 6 X 6 1/2" then score the 6 1/2" piece at 1/2".  Glue black pieces together with the 1/2"tab to form the card base.  Cut a piece of decorative paper 5 7/8 X 5 7/8” then glue it to the card base.  Cut 4 Starry Night borders from Black then glue them to the outside edges of the card.  Cut a full Starry Night “doily” out of black.  Cut a piece of dark blue decorative paper the size of the inner circle of the Starry Night doily and glue it to the back of doily.  Cut a larger circle out of green decorative paper (use the doily to get the cutting lines) then glue it to the back of the doily, now glue the paper pieced doily to the center of the card.

Stamp poinsettias, holly, candle holly border, sticks, and pine boughs using black.  Color and die cut, poinsettias are sponged with Red Carnation ink, die cut and formed in the Shaping Mold.  Glue 3-4 layers of poinsettia together and then add Prills to the centers.  Cut a sentiment tag from the decorative paper.

Decorate card by starting with the poinsettia borders up each side along the green circle.  Add Candle, pine boughs and sticks to arrangement.  Glue 3 poinsettias and holly to the bottom left corner. Glue the sentiment partially under poinsettias.   Add glitter to poinsettias and card.

My second card is made with the Classic Petunia

Instructions:
Card size: 6 X 6 1/4".  Cut white cardstock 12 X 6 ¼, fold in half to make a 6 X 6 1/4" card base.  Cut the sides with the Petite Pocket Accents outer die.  Cut decorative paper to match the card base.  Cut 2 white narrow Petite Pocket Accents and 2 wide Petite Pocket Accents.  Cut 1 white Lacy Diamond inside and out , 1 Eyelet Diamond, cut the inside Lacy diamond from a foam sheet to pop up the Eyelet and inside Lacy Diamond set.  Cut the Eyelet Diamond from a foam sheet as well to pop up the lacy diamond.   Glue the narrow Petite to the wide Petite in the back then glue the set to the cut side and do the same for the other side (narrow die will hang off edges).  Glue the foam Eyelet Diamond to the back of the Lacy Diamond and glue it to the center of card base.  Glue the other foam diamond to the back of the white cardstock Eyelet Diamond and then glue that set on top of the Lacy Diamond.  Add pearls to the intersections on the Diamond at the top.

Stamp Sentiment using Vibrant Fuchsia then die cut using the Eyelet Oval and Basics then cut a mat .  Rub the Vibrant Fuchsia ink pad along the edge of the sentiment oval to outline.  Pop it up onto the diamond above the middle point.

Stamp the butterfly onto Vellum with VersaMark then heat emboss using Fuchsia embossing powder.  Die cut and add a bit of color to the back.  Stamp petunias using Vibrant Fuchsia then sponge with Pink Peony and Vibrant Fuchsia.  Stamp the leaves using Leaf Green and sponge with Vivid Chartreuse.  Form blossoms and Leaves in molds (smaller greenery is formed slightly with a shaping tool and foam mat).  Glue 2 blossoms plus a green base for each flower.  Pierce the centers and insert threaded yellow stamen.

Glue leaves to the right side of card and add flowers.  Glue the butterfly (body only) to the left side of card.  Add glitter to all the flowers.

Matthew 5:14-16 New King James Version (NKJV)

14 “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.
Are you living a life that gives glory to God, your maker?  He expects us to be His ambassadors here on earth and to do the works He has done and walk the walk He walked.
We are all sinners saved by His grace, strive to honor Him in everything you do.  Be kind, be honorable, be giving, pray for the sick, give to the poor and help in any way you can, speak with grace and let your words bring life to other.  Encourage, show compassion, walk in truth.
Jesus said "I am the way, the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father except through Me".
Don't be afraid to share what good things God has done for you!!
