ODBDSLC269 Something Old and Something New

Good morning!
Welcome to another challenge from Our Daily Bread Designs.
This year we will be doing things a little differently, there will only be one challenge per month and you will have until the end of the month to enter.
This month we want you to use something old (from your stash maybe, I used the older "deer" stamp and something new, I used the new Wishing die from ODBD).

ODBD stamps: Quiet Waters, Wishing Words
I stamped and die cut my deer image and then die cut a black mat to enhance the image.  After coloring with Copic Markers I used a white painty pen to add shimmer lights to the water and spot on the fawn.  I die cut a white panel with the outer die of the Flourished Star Pattern set then also die cut a white panel with the Vintage Flourish Pattern (trimming each edge to fit inside the stitch lines of the bottom panel) 1" white satin ribbon was used to embellish along with black pearls.
Wishing was cut once in black and once in white and stacked offset.
The "you happiness" is part of the new set of words (Wishing Words) that coordinate with the Wishing die.

 My husband said that this image reminds him of Psalm 23

Psalm 23 (NLT)

A psalm of David.

The Lord is my shepherd;

    I have all that I need.

He lets me rest in green meadows;

    he leads me beside peaceful streams.

    He renews my strength.
He guides me along right paths,
    bringing honor to his name.
Even when I walk
    through the darkest valley,[a]
I will not be afraid,
    for you are close beside me.
Your rod and your staff
    protect and comfort me.
You prepare a feast for me
    in the presence of my enemies.
You honor me by anointing my head with oil.
    My cup overflows with blessings.
Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me
    all the days of my life,
and I will live in the house of the Lord
    forever.

That deer photo is perfect with the Psalm you shared. I think of green pastures and animals grazing...so peaceful.

Your coloring of the scene, the background and the sky you created is gorgeous!! Love it my friend! Stunning card!

Good morning, sweet friend! What a gorgeous card with this lovely scene I adore, and its beautifully colored with a lovely sky! And what a beautiful layout with the white delicate die and ribbon and the striking black matting and black pearls. It's a stunning card, and I love that you shared the appropriate 23rd Psalm with it. It's one of my favorites! Hugs, sweet friend!
