Heartfelt-Wedding Gatefold Easel

Good morning!
Welcome to another week of Heartfelt Inspiration.
This week I have another fun fold I found on Pinterest, a Gatefold Easel card.
The front has some beautiful pink carnations which are so easy to make now with the new shaping molds.
Read on to see.

This is the gatefold view

and the easel

HC PRODUCTS USED

Other Products:
Seam Binding, White Flower Soft, Acetate, Pink glitter gel pen, white card stock, Fun Foam, Copic Markers: RV00, RV02, YG03, YG17, YG63

Video:
For more tips on creating with the flower shaping molds, watch the tutorial at https://youtu.be/FSdPL7nXvQE.

Instructions:
Card size folded: 5 ¾ X 4 ½.  Start with white card stock 9” X 11 ½” and make score lines along short side at 2 ¼” from both ends, all the way down card stock, turn so long side is up and score at 5 ¾” now cut away top 2 corner pieces (see template) This will leave you with a full gate fold bottom half and just a 4 ½” X 5 ¾” section on top.  At this point score just the top section again at 2 7/8” (half way to center score line).   Now you have the bottom gatefold and top easel fold.  Fold on all score lines and use a bone folder to make a good crease.  Cut another piece of white card stock to make the front part of the easel (as usual for easel cards), 5 ¾” X 4 ½”. This is the panel that you will decorate.
Decorate the easel card front with decorative paper from the Camelia Carnation paper (the bridge scene was used here).  Stamp and die cut the Bride and Groom and place at the bridge.  Add the Festive Holiday Die at the top and the Sweetheart Border at the bottom. Now glue the panel to the easel (The bottom of the panel to the 2 7/8” top portion).
I used another piece of the same paper and decorated the inside flaps and base with the scene.  I cut 2 more Sweetheart Borders, 1 for each flap and then I stamped the sentiment on white and die cut it with the Ovals then matted with the large ovals.  I die cut a piece of Fun Foam to pop up my sentiment so that it could be used as a “catch” for the easel front to set against, see photo.
Now for the front of the gate flaps, I cut 2 large Sweetheart Borders (there are 2 borders dies in that set)from pink and cut it down to fit (it is perfect at the inner straight edge of that border) and then glued them to the front of my “gate” flaps.  Wrap ribbon around card to hold closed tying at the side.
Stamp and die cut the large floral heart from Classic Wedding Roses Stamp and die sets, color with Copic Markers RVOO, RVO2, YG03, YG17, YG63.Do just basic base color on the flowers as they will be covered with 3-D flowers  (I cut another heart from acetate to strengthen as this will only be glued on one side and it is delicate).  Glue half if the heart to just one side of your card, over ribbon (this will also keep ribbon in place when card is opened by recipient).  Now stamp, die cut and sponge Carnations with Rose Bud and Angel Pink Memento Inks.  Use the flower Mold and then use fingers to give a deeper pleat to petals (flower mold will start them by breaking down paper fibers for you).  Glue flowers together making small, medium and large flowers for the heart.  Sponge on glue and sprinkle with Crystal Clear then glue to heart wreath.  Use glue on baby’s breath and put white Flower Soft on that part.  Put pink Prills on the rose buds.
