Today I' m sharing a slimline card with a pair of sparrows and lots of heart. One the heart border I took advantage of the heart openings to weave in some ribbon, it looks so sweet.

My flowers are the Blackfoot Daisy with all the fun center pieces in place paired with the center stamping for extra realism.

 Hi there creative friends,

I've taken advantage of the nesting rectangles and Ovals again to make stitched frames making my layers really stand out without changing the background papers. And look at that cute scalloped frame for the heart.  

My bluebirds look so sweet sitting in those Columbine flowers.

Yellow, red and blue, what could be more classic? This is a perfect card for a special friend who needs a lift.

Elizabeth Craft Designs-Oval Easel

Hello creative friends,

I've made more California Poppies today for this oval easel card.

 

I used the largest oval on the folded cardstock making sure the cutting edge at the fold hung over about 1/4" so it didn't cut the fold.  I then scored the top in half.  Cut another front with the same oval die and glue it to just one half of the card base top.  This creates the easel.  The easel will stand up when it sets against a popped up sentiment on the inside as shown.

Again I've used black with copper in off-set layers for the oval frames.
