Heartfelt Creations Sending Love Your Way!

Good morning!

It isn't too early to think about Mother's Day, so here is
my version of a Mother's Day card.
My mother would have LOVED this card, she would have left it up all year!
She loved china tea cups (and you wonder what that has to do with anything right?)
Well it has to do with the beautiful flowers that were always on her cups.
She collected them and displayed them in a pretty curved case.
This card is in honor of my mom.

Instructions:
Card size: 6 X 6”.  Cut the top of the card inside with the Petite Pocket Accents Die outline. Cut the front of card with the same outline at 3” from the bottom.  Cut a decorative paper panel to match front and inside of card, both sides and glue the inside pieces onto the card.  Cut 2 Decorative Pocket Accent dies and 1 Petite Pocket Accent die from white cardstock.  Glitter the pansies on the paper, all sides. On the front decorative paper panel, glue the Decorative Pocket Accents to top and slit where needed before gluing panel and die cuts to front of card.  For the inside of card, die cut large Eyelet Diamond and another smaller Eyelet Diamond out of white, Stamp Happy Mother’s Day using Deep Purple on the smaller Eyelet Diamond.  Die cut a large Diamond Basic out of purple Decorative paper, glue it to the large Eyelet Diamond then glue the sentiment Eyelet Diamond onto the center of the purple Diamond.  Glue the Diamond stack to the center of the inside of card.  Stamp Hey It’s Your Special Day! Using Deep Purple onto white then die cut with a circle die.  Glue it to the opposite side of the inside (matching top of half circle from die cut edge).  Glue the Petite Pocket Accent to the top edge of the inside back.

To decorative card with flowers: Stamp medium and small pansies using Deep Purple, sponge with Buttercup and Deep Purple then die cut and run through the die cutting machine in the shaping mold. Glue Prills to the centers of all the pansies.  Stamp Delicate Pansy Spray using Fern Green, color with Copics.  Cut ends off and save to place differently, use the base to place formed flowers on, 1 on top left and 1 on bottom right.  Add the saved leafy ends of the right side to the left of formed flowers to make a small semi-circle shape and to the same on top left side adding the leafy ends to the right side of formed flowers.  Stamp Petite Floral flowers on yellow with Buttercup and shape in the shaping mold.  Pierce centers and insert a beaded white stamen in each.  Add the yellow flowers as fillers.  Glitter all the flowers and randomly add glitter to die cuts.   Cut a tag and a sentiment out of the decorative paper, glitter it, add a ribbon and insert tag into the front of card in the pocket.

Both of these cards are lovely. Especially the one that you made in tribute to your Mother. My Mom was one of my biggest fans and the one who encouraged me the most to keep making cards!
