Good morning!
Today I've used the beautiful die we got with the Cherry Blossom Retreat Collection
as a shaper for my "gate".
To make double layers I did have to draw around the die and fussy cut
but that wasn't hard to do at all. Try it!

Card size: 5 3/4 X 6”.
This card is actually a pocket card, the bottom is a pocket for a gift
card. The top lifts to reveal the gift
inside. The curved bottom of the top
tucks under the Gift For You tag to keep it closed. Start with a 12 X 6 piece
of cardstock and fold in half. Cut the
top with the Fleur Border Basics plain edge.
Cut a black panel with the Eyelet edge and the wide die together. Cut a piece of pink decorative paper 5 3/4 X
4 and cut the bottom to match white leaving a white border all the way
around. Glue it to the card top. Glue the black eyelet edge so that the white
shows through the eyelet. Cut a pocket for the card base inside 6 X 3” cut pink
paper 5 3/4 X 2 3/4" and glue it to the pocket. Glue the pocket on the bottom and 2 sides to
the bottom of card. Cut the A Gift For You tag out of black, white and pink
decorative paper and piece together. Off
set the words slightly. Pop the die cut
sentiment onto bottom pocket at a point where the top can barely tuck under
it. Add a black rhinestone to each
corner of the card.
Stamp car,
and top sentiment using black on white cardstock. Die cut the sentiment with the Ornamental
tags, “highway sign” tag sponge edges with pink and mat on larger black
“highway sign”. Die cut the car and
color with Copics. Stamp the florals
with Magenta Hue and Buttercup and the leaves with Fern Green. Die cut and form. Add Prills to the centers of flowers then
glue flowers and leaves to the back of car.
Add glitter randomly to the card then pop car up on the decorative
edge. Glue sign tag to the left top.

Wow, isn't this the truth! Keeping calm in the middle of controversy is hard but it also defuses the situation most of the time. NOT reacting to someone is the best. The other person may even be saying hurtful things against your character that you know is not true, reacting to that only causes them to react to your reaction and a vicious cycle is now started.
What happens when you say something nice back instead, they have no where to go with it and often just feel like a jerk (especially given some time to think about it).
Next time someone is anger and starts trying to stir things up, try giving a "soft" answer instead of reacting.
