Card size: Including flowers, 6 X 7”.  Stamp Urn using Rich Cocoa onto decorative paper-light gold, die cut and color with Copics.  Die cut urn again from light gold decorative paper (for the inside and/or back optional).  Die cut urn from ivory folded cardstock (fold at the top), see video for shaped cards.  Glue the stamped urn to the folded shaped card, glue the other die cut urn to the inside (optional).  *Leave the top of the urn open to insert flowers.

Stamp Oakberry Lane Blossoms using embossing fluid and gold powder then heat to emboss, die cut, shape in the mold then glue 3 layers together (2 of larger side and 1 smaller inside). Insert stamen, add glue to set and set aside to dry.  Stamp fillers and accents using Fern Green for leaves, Lighthouse for berries and other fillers, Sky Blue for the Jonny Jump Ups, embossing fluid and white embossing powder for the dandelions and some fillers.  Sponge and color all berries, fillers, accents, then die cut.

Add a layer of gold glittered tulle to the back of the urn then fill with flowers, accents, fillers and leaves.  Insert some gold Rose Hip Stamen, red and blue beaded stamen and more tulle as needed to fill urn.

Stamp sentiment using Rich Cocoa then die cut with Ticket and Tags die set.  Ink the edges with Vintage Photo Distress or Rich Cocoa.  Add the tag to top right side of urn then glue another piece of gold tulle to the top of tag.

Glitter the card base, fills and accents with Crystal Ultrafine and glitter the Oakberry Blossoms with Rajni’s Crystal Clear.  Paint leaves with a combination of lacquer and shimmer additive.

My second card is for Christmas!

Card size: 6 X 6”.  Cut ivory cardstock 12 X 6 and fold in half for the base.  Cut a piece of red decorative paper 5 3/4” square then glue it to the card.  Cut 2 Ornate Pocket Accents along with the thin die with the piercing for a border along the straight edges out of ivory cardstock.   Cut a piece of green decorative paper 2 1/2" square to fit inside the square when the 2 Ornate Pocket Accents are glued together to fit on the 5 3/4" square red paper (poinsettias will cover overlapping seems on the 2 sides).  Glue the ivory Ornate Pocket die cuts down then the border pieces and end with the green square fitting inside the border pieces.

Stamp holly spray and large candle using black, die cut and color.  Stamp poinsettias using Vermillion, sponge with Carnation Red, die cut then shape in mold.  Stamp holly leaves using Fern Green, sponge with Leaf Green, die cut then shape in the mold (sponge both sides on poinsettias and holly). Glue 2 poinsettia together for each flower then insert gold stamen, also glue gold Prills to the centers.

Run pearls along the pierced border and add pearls to some of the decorative die as well.  Pop the candle up at the bottom left side.  Shape the holly spray a bit from the back then glue the stem above the candle on the left side.  Glue the poinsettias and holly leaves to both sides.  Glitter flowers and randomly glitter card.  Cut sentiment out of the decorative paper then curl it and fish tail the end.  Glue to the center green square at an angel tucking the left end up under the candle.  Add some shimmer to the ornaments and holly leaves by mixing a drop of shimmer additive to some 3D Lacquer and paint it on with a brush.

Thanks for visiting today!

Luke 2:4-14

So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David. He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child. While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no guest room available for them.

And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. 10 But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. 11 Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. 12 This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.”

13 Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,

14 “Glory to God in the highest heaven,
and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.”
