Cozy Winter Wishes

Good morning!  Welcome to a new debut.
This collection as the cottage (I LOVE it!) and
accessory stamps for each season.
Since it's after Christmas, I traded out the gift
in the snowman's hand to the cardinals sitting on his branch arm.
I used berries and tiny Cherry Blossoms (instead of poinsettias)
to make a pretty border for the arch.
The Tulip collection Gate was just perfect
to finish my scene when the card is closed.

Card size: 5 1/8 X 7”.  Using the 5 X 7 Gateway Fold card Base, center the Elegant Swirl Gateway Die over base while closed.  Cut half way down (it will not cut all the way through but do it anyway). Turn card around and cut up about 1 1/2" (this will leave a about a 1 1/2” fold on both sides).  Unfold card and finish cutting through each 1/3 placing the die on the indented cut areas.  Cut the outside edge only on the first and third panel (make sure to leave the folds, do not cut all the way across).  I used my Big Shot Plus for these cuts.

Cut decorative paper with the outer die again for all 3 panels.  Cut 2 of these in half, score and fold the 1st and 3rd panel to form a gatefold card.  The two decorative paper panels cut in half will go on these 2 panels.  Avoid the score/fold line when gluing paper. Use the second and third dies to cut 3 white decorative aches.   Cut 2 arches in half, glue the full arch in the center, glue the two arches cut in half on the sides avoiding score/fold.

Stamp the cottage and all the winter pieces cutting the birds 3 times and the berries several times using black, cut the Tulip fence using black.  Die cut and color.  Stamp leaves using Fern Green, sponge with Leaf Green, stamp smallest blossoms using Vermillion sponge with Carnation Red. Die cut and form in the mold.  Fill centers with white Prills.

Stamp sentiment with Vermillion then die cut with the long die of Arrows and Banner Die (shorten as necessary).

Glue some white paper at the bottom of center panel (about 1 1/4") glue the cottage at the top of “yard” snow white paper.  Glue snowy bushes around house.  Use Dries White Adhesive and glitter for the yard and bushes.  Use Stickles painted on with a brush over the snowy roof. Glue sentiment about 1/4" above cottage roof.  Glue berries and birds at the top of the arch.

Cut fence in half then glue a half to each folded front.  Glue berries all the way around arch and more at each corner.  Glue some leaves over bottom of berries at the corners.  Glue tiny blossoms around the arch and add tiny leaves as desired.  Cut gift off of snowman’s branch hand then glue a pair of birds onto his arm instead, re-enforce birds as they extend over the center.  Pop up snowman, pop up a bird on each fence post.  Randomly glitter card.  Use a palette knife to apply texture paste on both sides of the front under fence, glitter the paste before it dries.

Thanks for visiting!

Robin

He has shown you, O man, what is good;
And what does the Lord require of you
But to do justly,
To love [a]mercy,
And to walk humbly with your God?
