For My Friend Clematis Debut

Good morning!
Excited to show these Clematis today!!  I have the
most gorgeous purple one in my backyard, I LOVE it!
This new collection also has a birdhouse and birds.
I used the decorative paper with the birdhouse on the panel
but stamped and popped up the birds to go with it.

Instructions:
Card size: 5 X 7”.  Cut 2 white and 2 gold of the Regal Lattice Gateway decorative die glue sets together, off-setting slightly.  Cut a card base from the Regal Lattice Gateway Inner outline by placing the die about ¼” off the fold on top.  When cut, score 1 of the halves in half again at 2 3/8”, fold downward to inside of card.  Cut another inner outline to make a front then glue it to the bottom of front folded down piece on card base.  To this front glue 1 of the white and gold sets matching bottoms.  Glue the other white and gold set to the inside, also matching bottoms when card is closed.

Cut 2 inner outline die cuts from pretty decorative paper with the birdhouse and fence.  Glue them onto the front and the inside.

Stamp Clematis small and medium sizes using Deep Purple, sponge with combo of Deep Purple and Majestic Violet, die cut.  Stamp leaves using Fern Green, sponge with Leaf Green and Purples, die cut then form flowers and leaves in the shaping mold.  Cut the stamen from yellow paper either fringing or using the Arianna or Petunia stamen dies.  Glue them to the centers then fill centers with Prills.

(Most Clematis I’ve seen have only 1 layer on petals so these flowers were made with that in mind).

Stamp the birds, 2 sets, using Tuxedo Black ink, die cut then color.  Shape slightly from the back then add foam pop ups. Stamp the decorative paper tag using Deep Purple with the sentiment, die cut.

Glue the flowers on the inside so that it will keep the card open at desired spot, add leaves and 1 set of birds then add the tag with ribbon.  Glue more flowers to the birdhouse panel on the front of card then add the other set of birds.

Add the rhinestones and multi-loop bows made from light blue silk 1/8” ribbon.  Glue them to the inside and front of card.  Now add Rajni’s Crystal Clear to the flowers and Ultrafine to the card.  Paint some lacquer mixed with shimmer additive on the leaves.

My next card uses one of my favorite die sets!

Instructions:
Card size: 4 3/4 X 6 3/4".  Start with a piece of heavy weight cardstock 9 1/2"X 7 1/4” folded to 4 3/4" X 7 1/4”.  Place outer outline die of Decorative Circles Frame Die so that it hangs over the fold about 1/4".  Die cut then cut another front also out of heavy weight cardstock (it is good to have a really firm solid base).  Die cut the decorative section from Silver and from white.  Use the largest non-eyelet circle from Eyelet Circle and Basics to cut the center from the white decorative die cut only then use it to die cut a foam circle.  Glue the white and silver together then glue foam under the decorative dies.   Cut the large eyelet die of Decorative Circles from white.  Cut the next size Eyelet die from white and also from foam (Fun Foam sheet).  Stamp the sentiment, at 1 side, using Majestic Violet on last white eyelet die cut then glue foam under circle.  Stack all dies together on card front.

Stamp Clematis, large, medium and small using Majestic Violet, sponge and die cut.  Stamp the leafy Accents using Fern Green, sponge with Leaf Green and Violet, die cut and form all in their molds. Stack 2 of each size flower together for all flowers.   For the large flower, insert white pollen stamen with white bead stamen.  For all the rest of the flowers just use the medium bead stamen.

Stamp the Hydrangea petals using VersaMark then emboss with white powder and heat.  Use 1 bead stamen in the centers.  Cut the wires on all the flowers short at the base.  Curl some of the white wires for arrangement.   Glitter all the flowers with Rajni’s Crystal Clear.

Stamp the butterfly using VersaMark on watercolor paper then emboss with white, die cut then wet the surface, apply Zig Clean Color.

Arrange flowers and leaves around the right side, bottom and top of sentiment circle.  Insert small flowers and curled wires where they look best to you.  Pop up the body of the butterfly and add it to the left top.

Thanks for visiting today!
Robin
