Christmas Lantern Slimline

Material List

Card size:  3 7/8 X 7 3/8”

Cut card base by folding white cardstock in half lengthwise, placing the outer die of the Slim Elegant Rectangle over the left fold letting it overhang fold by about 3/8”.  Cut a red decorative front repeating the same process. Then glue it to the card base.

Cut the decorative part of die from white and from gold, glue them together offset then cut away the center curves to match card base (the cut will be covered with ribbon or cord). Shorten the center die cut, cut 1 white and 1 gold, and glue together off-set.

Stamp lantern using black, die cut, color then pop up in the center of the card.

Stamp poinsettias using Vermillion, sponge with carnation, die cut then sponge edges with vermillion (and backs of blossoms as well). Glue 2 together then insert gold stamen.

Tie cord on if it hasn’t been done and make several loops of cord (like a bow) on the left side then hot glue in place. Hot glue flowers to the card around the lantern.

Add gold half-balls to the card.
